Reminder for the libs that America existed for over 226 years with no Department of Homeland Security, with no issues. Why does the executive need their own personal paramilitary force? The department has lost any semblance of the plot... charitibly granting the assumption there was one to begin with, and it wasn't just a creation of the "Nixon did nothing wrong" cronies. Abolishing DHS is not a radical position to take.

The whole principle behind electoral politics is to give your symbolic consent to be governed by a person. Therefore not voting is a principled stand if you don't consent to be governed by any of the clowns being presented. Its really that simple.

Know what's really depressing... what may explain record warming this year was phase-out of sulfur fuel used in cargo ships 2020.
Sulfur emissions into the air kept warming lower than it should have been due to thr "global dimming" effect.

Hard disagree. (Heads up, gonna get real language wonk here.) American English is actually based off English peasant pronunciations. The whole modern British accents crap is actualy a late 19th century phenominon that was intended to replicate social caste systems by enforcing stupid cultural boarding school pronunciations. Yeah, really, look it up! American English is more akin to English as it was originally spoken. Most American immigrants were the undesirables of European society. Before there was American imperialism, there was British imperialism and, while fuck 'em both, I'm gonna stick with the historical pronunciation of the working class.
