Unhook replaces the function of DF and Hide Shorts, in addition to a few more nice options for hiding algo-slop. would highly recommend it! also Dearrow, which was made by the developer of SponsorBlock. it does the same thing as Clickbait Remover, but with added customization and community submitted replacements.

idk, I went and looked at the vegan comm after seeing this reply, and the most "toxic" thing I saw was vegan folks expressing frustrations with bad takes on their lives from libs in very nuanced (and even sympathetic) ways. these posts from comrade Angel really got me thinking, actually. it just reinforced my view that this is a very friendly and honest place!

i'm not sure if hexbears realize just how bad the actual toxic internet cliques are...

i'm fairly new, and i really don't get the accusations of clique-yness, nor toxicity. this is easily one of the friendliest and most welcoming public communities i've ever been in online

it seems to be from a botched or infected update to Crowdstrike security software, i unsuspectingly posted about it a few hours ago https://hexbear.net/comment/5144648 It seems to only be affecting corpo stuff

here's an extension that lets you save whole or portions of a webpage in a single HTML file. it's very nice for saving posts, and is really easy to use
