If you live in the US, looks like hair discrimination is explicitly protected against in some states but not others https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discrimination_based_on_hair_texture_in_the_United_States

If they took no issue in the interview, the cap seems good for now? Hate that they care about appearance in any regard given customers never see you, but managers gotta power trip I guess. Echoing other posters that there's a good chance it's something that is on the books but never ends up being an issue for you. Not trying to discount the history of hair discrimination, definitely something that could happen, but hoping for the best for you.

I saw pumpkin spice flavor dude wipes in the store. Truly I don't understand the marketing on that one... It's tacticool sanitary products for men who are insecure about getting something "girly", but then scented with something feminine coded?? Who is that for

Is it like when frat bros wear pink tank tops, but they have to be pink tank tops for men? Any masculinity understanders here?

Good take.

I also hate seeing gore. Ghost themed horror ends up my favorite as a result, but I just don't look for horror.

Little known fact is that Apple Bottom Jeans was recorded originally by the Beach Boys in 1964

They probably are basically dried edamame: "Soy curls are made by boiling and dehydrating whole, non-GMO soybeans, which creates a texture similar to chicken. They are then processed into fibrous strands and packaged for use as a meat alternative." Whatever they do to them the texture is incredible - I use them whenever something calls for chunks or strips e.g. stews and curries

Pictures on this website give you a good idea of what they're like? Ignore the recipe Link

Never tried the Gardein stuff, if you want to try something else I swear by the Butler Soy Curls. My absolute favorite vegan meat substitute (not considering tofu and tempeh), it's just dried whole soybeans with a really nice, chewy texture. Rehydrate in veggie stock and chefs-kiss. You can buy them in 12 pound bulk since you work in a kitchen. Link

Love your vegan slop posts btw

Beat it yesterday, made a hexbear account to tell you how much I enjoyed it. Highlights for me were the fire arrow puzzles in the phoenix temple, the enemy manipulation puzzles in the 2nd (iirc) temple, and the minigames on the overmap. All boss fights were excellent, challenging but fair. I think I got all the pieces of inspiration, max sword with 7 health upgrades (13 total health) - did I miss any? Clear time of ~4.5 hours, don't see a speedrun.com category so I'm putting this on my resume as world's fastest Guardian Cry player. Thank you for the game!
