article from February

the New York Times reporting that Trump discussed with associates his desire to tear up the grass in the Rose Garden and cover it up with a solid surface.

He is weighing whether it should be “limestone or an easily interchangeable hard surface, with the possibility of installing hardwood floors for dancing,” according to the Times.

Oh look he did the thing he threatened to do

Get books off the internet! Brilliant!

Doesn't tourism help the economy? You gotta give people time off to be the consumers you want them to be.

I know nurses and other government employees who wouldn't want less mandatory holidays off, you're either off or get holiday pay to work on a Monday!

damn I hope it isn't an unfortunate choice of words

I kinda feel like I'm taking crazy pills* I'm seeing examples of dictatorship left and right, six months after taking office, and mostly all I really see are jokes and team cheering or jeering.

A journalist was fired for speaking against a person in political power. Not only that, the offense was just calling someone hateful. Meanwhile slurs and hateful dehumanizing names and actual made up diagnosis are used to put down anyone critical of anyone in the current administration that is currently in Trump's good graces.

*I'm aware that we are humans giving knee jerk reactions, and often these posts are a form of stress relief. It doesn't stop me from feeling like Chicken Little

I also just wanna add this journalist has some fantastic writing skills and damn now I wanna look up his entire career. I hope someone snatches him up and I'm really proud and heartened to see a public figure face the consequences of standing up to fascism and still hold their head high. To publicly say they stand by their statements and not apologize.

Amazing, came to the comments to see if anyone pointed this out and it's not even a parent comment.

I find this scary not funny.

I really wish there was even one source included so I could have a better launching point for data I actually care about and want to understand.

Politics isn't just a gotcha game, despite how it is playing out lately.

No, please and thank you.

In that case they have some good content there. I just finished The Light Shop which is like a horror drama mystery (depending on your tolerance for what horror is.) Apparently the creator is doing some universe thing and their other show Moving is based in the same universe. I haven't seen it yet though

Netflix definitely has way more kdrama though than hulu, especially stuff that is just owning streaming rights.

You're important too
