Lobbying needs to gtfo and be illegal already. We don't talk enough about it because the America is on a tilt-a-whirl as it is

Honest question wouldn't most of us at this point be fucked anyway? Our history isn't scrubbed, the patriot act has been in effect for decades. A fascist government is going to care about what you said before you got a VPN, perhaps before they even existed.

Sorry if this is not the right place but I was wondering if anyone has any pics or videos of people around Trump where they seem to be disgusted by his dirty diaper smell?

It's such a common thing but not really talked about in public besides on social media and sporadic news, and thus hard (for me) to search for. I thought lemmy might have some screenshots saved of examples of all kinds, both reported and not.

I need a laugh

Imo this should be pantone color of 2026

When I see not dishwasher/microwave safe I assume it is because the plastic becomes harmful and fuck that noise

I'm an Olympic judge in orange cat sleeping; perfect form with creative flair, well groomed and fluffy shiny fur, bean exposure. And ultimately the perfectly exposed jaw for scritches

Impeached??? Omg! Not again! How ever would they survive? Unprecedented

It does care where you're looking though

Listen hear me out...

Can we just have a newsletter of "trump says" instead of reporting every fucking thing his geriatric mind spews 3 times a day? While it is important to be aware of the context of the crazy; at this point it isn't real news ffs! he's basically weekend at bernies at this point.

Sorry idr if this from source article or one linked in it:

Training was slashed from 16 weeks to six, with sit-ups eliminated because recruits couldn't handle them.

These nazis are so fucking pathetic in every conceivable way lol

it would be so much funnier if they weren't destroying lives and killing people

Ffs the fact I even forgot this obvious point because so busy being pissed at the blatant lies, fascist takeover, and murder.

The tweet is from 2023 and still relevant 🙃

Hoping for the best 🤞it's kind of a crapshoot if something has impact though

I wanna add though that my above statement is only in regards to this specific document and that the details of the allegation may not be up to snuff.

When I said I doubt these are the true events I meant the victim was a child undergoing trauma at the time and thus won't be the most reliable narrator with specifics like dates. And yes, I can believe that a woman remembers wrong what year she was a pregnant and abused teenager (that gave birth to and then witnessed her child's murder). My memory is SHIT from when I was abused, I remember what happened to me but the how, why, and when could be mixed up with all sorts of other stuff. Just because I can't recall the events to others in a way that passes scrutiny doesn't mean it didn't happen to me and my experience was a lie. It's completely natural for your brain to record these memories in a distorted way. I suspect this was intentional though so they could paint all further allegations against trump in some negative light

First Gaming PC (lemmy.world)

I have had playstation for a while, but aside from Petz, Rollercoaster tycoon, and the sims <4 I never had a pc that could handle games.

I was gifted a used custom gaming PC cuz the owner was getting a new one! I have an $80 steam gift card I'd love to spend on multiple pop culture classic games I've missed out on and can only enjoy on PC/Xbox.. my favorite are 3rd person rpg with exploration as an important element in learning about the lore/story. Some sort of reward for exploring thar isn't loot.

Games I loved

  • Control

  • Horizon zero dawn

  • Persona 5/royal Those three are S tier life changing, think about forever types

  • Bishop trilogy (2 is best @me bro)

  • P5 strikers

  • Persona 4 golden

  • Final fantasy, 7, 9, 10, 13, 15

  • Catherine Full Body

  • Alan Wake

  • Ni no Kuni2

  • The forgotten city

  • Until dawn

  • A plague tale 1 innocence

  • TLOU1

  • Uncharted 1-3

  • Portal 1 & 2

Meh

  • life is strange 1
  • TLOU2
  • Nier automata (ikr, wtf? )

Did not finish/Gave up for lack of interest

  • Mass effect 1 (and thus none of the sequels)
  • Little nightmares
  • Fallout 4
  • Cyberpunk 2077 and not for glitch reasons
  • Ghostwire

So far the only game I'm sure of is the fable series but I dont even know what version to get? It often gets confusing for older games for a newbie

Computer details: Intel i9, 32gb ram, and Nvidia GeForce rtx 2070

***Edit: deux ex

So I have access to the ps plus catalog. I'm really excited they have disco elysium the final cut, and dues ex mankind divided

My brain has muddled these two awesome franchise pop culture knowledge where I feel like I'm more or less able to go into either blind and I wanna preserve that! The thing is it's not really clear to me for either title if I'd be playing a sequel (or something that is better enjoyed with prior context)

So I guess my question is for these two games, what should ideally be the order placement? Even if I just watch a yt essay on a previous game I don't have access to just to have some good groundwork context.

I also am curious what games you discovered that is available through similar subscriptions. Were you pleasantly surprised? Just meet average expectations?

Here is the Opening Draft [01:32], which could serve as a trailer.

And his current project/upcoming video is the entire series of Power Rangers

Yeah sorry not your typical post here, I hope that's OK!

I'm thinking of getting this for my (14)nephew and my brother to play together. He used to play DND in the 80s and this game really sounds like it tries to honor a lot of the culture and whatnot of the games.

But... I haven't played anything like either of those and my brother is extremely busy with little free time and my nephew doesn't have as much free time as the average kid.

Is this a game that could still be enjoyable in small doses? Does it get overwhelming or stressful fast for most people who don't play games nearly as long or as intense as this? For context they play a lot of match style games but my brother loved the original assasians creed.

And if not or for some reason you have another suggestion I'd love to hear it because at the very least this game sounds good to me and I'm interested in what other games it's fans like that I could also check out. :)

Ya'll jealous of my black 08 prismacolor fine line marker and pilot precise v7 rt.

Okay what the fuck is that last one? Why does it sound like a sports car marketed to males 14-26?

Is there a really popular product, technique, or otherwise viral trend that you tried and it fell short somehow?

What was it, what were your expectations, and what was the result?

(LOL no shame, totally posting this in the makeup community if I can find it)

I love how far against mainstream Radcliff has gone post HP. And this is just delightful regardless

What is an old show you think is great and really doesn't get mentioned enough? Why should someone watch it?
