You could maybe try immersing the plants with water for a few hours so the aphids die or leave and then try to prevent them from coming back with neem oil or pyrethrins if you're not afraid of pesticides (i figure there's so many carcinogens everywhere else why not spray a little poison on the food but my mint has basically 0 bugs on it, just all up in the soil)
