Almost a decade ago I was playing a game called paragon in development by epic games. The game was amazing, and then epic forced the devs away from what the game was, a MOBA, and forced the devs to make it more like a brawler with smaller and smaller maps. Epic ignored the community playing the game and acted shocked when the community left. While all this was going down, they were alpha testing fortnight, which was a plants, zombies clone with base building. When PubG took off, they killed Paragon, rolled the assets into fornite, and abandoned what fortnite was to turn it into a PubG copycat. (Highly recommend predecessor, a fan made remake from the released paragon assets with og heros, it's on steam.)

Epic doesn't have an original thought rattling around in the heads of their MBAs and C-suite. They copy what others are doing, and pray that some of the shit they fling against the wall will stick. They don't want to take chances or innovate. Plenty of other options out there besides their game engine too. I'm looking forward to the fall of epic and EGS.

As a former Texas resident I can confirm that deep fried butter is a thing at the state fair. No I didn't try it. The only deep fried food worth eating at the fair is deep fried pickles, change my mind.

I take packets of free mayo, ketchup, mustard, and hot sauce from the work cafeteria everyday. I haven't bought those condiments in ages.

That means nothing when you've alienated all your trading partners, and your trading partners are boycotting the products you make.

You are correct, lucky cat's listing and price hasn't changed, https://www.ebay.com/itm/306190026974 , but if you scroll way down they did change the model to Devinci Enigma 4500.

I 100% believe this is a scam seller involved in money laundering. If seller is really based in Japan, My yakuza sense is tingling.

Lucky Cat's posting is likely related to money laundering. Pics are stolen and asking price is so detached from reality it's been diagnosed with schizo-affective disorder. OP if this item is still listed, report it to ebay as fraud, (stolen pics/money laundering/fraud,) and link the page that Bluegrass_Addict has in their post. https://www.ebay.com/itm/277550623493

Edit: I tried to report and I get: We ran into a problem. Please try again later. God EBAY is such trash.

Just to be clear, I down voted this because it's an article about rumors originating from unnamed sources being talked about by a gaming journalist via his podcast. May as well just print the article out and wipe your ass with it.

You are 100% correct, and the source is entirely left leaning. Bias matters. I don't think the concern presented by the article is disingenuous when considering the blatant disregard of the law we have seen coming from the executive branch this term.

First, call your insurance carrier to find out who is in network, and get an idea about the costs.

Second, depending on your situation and how resilient you are, it can take years to undo learned behaviors that were used to survive or cope in your current abusive conditions. A good therapist will help you see that there are other ways to think about the things bothering you and help you develop tools to manage your emotions, set boundaries, and care for your emotional well being.

Third, it can take a while to find a provider you like. Don't be afraid to find a new therapist if you feel like the one you have isn't being helpful.

With respect to your insurance company, the only thing that's going to be on file is the claim from the provider, which will list the diagnosis, and they type of service they provided, (30 minute visit, 60 minute visit.) Your claims, and explanations of benefits are protected by HIPAA law, which means only you, the insurance company, and the provider have a right to have access to those records on file with the insurance company. If your parents attempt to get those records without your permission, (a signed form,) the insurance company and provider will tell them to go fuck themselves, but in a more polite manner.

Your provider might take notes about your sessions, those are protected by HIPAA privacy law. You can expect the things you discuss with your therapist to remain private; HOWEVER, a therapist is a mandated reporter. Laws in all 50 states require a therapist to contact authorities if a patient is a danger to themselves, to others, and/or if the therapist suspects that a known child is being abused.

If your therapist is recommending medication, find a psychiatrist, do not do that shit through a primary care doctor.

My shitty state pension would come out to $1600 a month, (assuming I work at least 20 years,) and I'd have to wait to age 63 to take it without a reduction. Based on inflation that wouldn't even pay my rent in retirement. (My retiree health insurance premiums would also come out of my pension.) I have no choice but to keep working when I start collecting my pension.

If social security is still there when I reach retirement, I plan to take it as soon as I can. The amount of stress, and shit healthcare here will absolutely send me to an early grave, so fuck it.

A bunch of MAGA screaming “Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me” says nothing about Rage’s politics and everything about their extreme lack of media literacy.

100% agree with you on this, and would go a step further to say, a bunch of MAGA screaming, "Fuck you I won't do what you tell me," illustrates exactly how fucking devoid they are of any form of critical thinking.

Enjoy the economy you voted for, Alabama!

I love this for him.

Authorities have not named the suspect, but Jackson Township police are working with prosecutors to determine charges.

Attempted murder comes to mind.
