A pointless war that ~~only~~ mostly made the world a worse place, and the US entered it near the end to make money. There's a reason nobody celebrates the glory of it.

Fuck Veterans' Day though

iOS is such dogshit, I use an iPhone for gig-work apps and the lack of a back button/gesture is constantly pissing me off. Notification shade is so disorganized. Until recently you couldn't even keep apps off your home screen, and they still gravitate towards the top. You can adjust the haptic strength of the home button (on SE), but you can't even adjust the haptic strength of the keyboard.

"Crony" capitalism is an inevitability in a capitalist system. If someone gets enough wealth and power they will buy government influence. It's actually an expression of the "free market" that they can buy a service that's useful to them. Even within the private sector, powerful companies will form cartels to control the market. The only way out of this is government intervention.

If you see a red triangle imposed over someone's face, that means they have a female skull for sure.

“Masking propaganda that influences public opinion under the guise of providing informational material is antithetical to Wikimedia’s ‘educational’ mission.”

Wikipedia may claim to be neutral, but even though it isn't, that shouldn't affect its 501(c) status. Non-profits are allowed to have bias. Trump's stupid thugs are going after a very popular source of information that actually reinforces pro-US bias. Maybe they are too short-sighted to realize the value of a "limited hangout".

What's actually funny about this is that those guys are stated to be "neo-republicans" elsewhere in the series, who are one of the more moderate/liberal Rebel factions.

Someone does need to advocate for them, I don't think their parents are qualified either. "Autism parents" seem so arrogant and self-centered

the reality and pain of a subset of parents of children with autism who feel left out of much of the conversation around the condition.

If anything they are always dominating the conversation despite being in the minority of autism cases. I understand it's hard for them, but it's not all about you and you're talking over autistic adults who should be heard more.

They didn't save any money, they just redirected it into war.

They cut $150 billion from things such as scientific research and weather reports (to be fair they also cut propaganda networks), and added $150 billion to the war budget. Meanwhile they are taking the police state to new heights in suppressing the freedom of expression, and charging high taxes via tariffs. That's not a smaller government allowing you more freedoms, if you support this administration as a libertarian you are very confused. I remember when you guys acted like you were against war and the surveillance state!
