Hahaha! That rules! I wish I had a bunch of pals to play mannequin with. That's a lovely Halloween memory, I'll be happy if I can make some for the kids who come visit us.

Hopefully your town gets some Halloween cheer soon! ๐ŸŽƒ

Gonna be a spooky ghost and hand candy out to trick or treaters, hoping this year is as busy as last!

My family loves Halloween so we always go all out specter

GW2 had such a lovely community, I really do miss the early years. My friends and I still play it regularly and the amount of vitriol that gets passed around randomly is just depressing. I know for a fact they don't moderate anything and only take action once something is mass reported enough; the same people are still spamming slurs in the PvP lobby chat for years now.

Theorem? I barely know em!

I just helped move a comrade out of Texas up north and wow, it's just such a different world up there. The flight back to Austin was marked with a deep melancholy knowing how different the culture was on the other side of the country.

May everyone escape this hell hole.

The frequency of my flare ups has definitely declined over time, so there is hope that eventually our symptoms will become more manageable. Solidarity, I'm sorry you're also going through it.

covid-cool

I hit year two of long Covid a few months ago and the thought of having these symptoms for the rest of my life fills me with dread. I guess we'll be seeing the long term consequences of letting this virus ravage the population repeatedly unfold.

Just wanted to leave an update, she is doing much better after meeting with the remaining LGBTQ organization members. We've been able to donate some money (somewhat difficult) for food and resources and they're working together to figure out a long term plan for employment. Thanks again everyone.

Damn, I'm sorry to hear. I have a friend who works for a smaller bakery and I think she would agree with you.

I guess getting your co-workers together could be your last resort if you're on the edge of quitting already. I feel you about the NPC mode, I could never do it at my job either, even the most mindless of tasks can be enjoyable with just some chatter and camaraderie. I hope the situation improves, and if not, I'm sure you'll find somewhere not so soul crushing.

I just quit my job, I probably shouldn't have but I couldn't justify working there anymore to myself. I'm not sure if it was the right choice but once I hit my breaking point being there was torturous.

Is that where you're at with this place? It sounds like you enjoy the job, it's just this manager that is making your life hell for really no reason. Do you think there's anyway to get them off your back?

Hello /c/traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns, I hope this is the right place for this kind of post. I'm apart of a leftist LGBTQ discord and recently become acquainted with a young trans woman going through hard times right now. From what I've read and what she's told me, a lot of their LGBTQ activism funding was tied to USAID, and with gone she is feeling very isolated.

I made this account to try and find any resources or organizations or experience with LGBTQ rights in the Balkans, so please do DM me if you have any advice or kind words I can pass along. Thanks very much, big love to my trans comrades cat-trans
