You can normally have a cobbler replace the soles of shoes.

Freesewing.org tries to do that, but just ends up awkwardly referring to "people with/without breasts" instead.

Is this just for the EU or Europe in general?

[–] RobotToaster@mander.xyz 1 points 5 months ago (3 children)

Should it also include Russia then? At least the half that is in Europe.

Women tend to have narrower feet.

We would all be better off if we just included foot width in shoe sizes though.

My point is the only way to "defeat" them is to literally have boots in Moscow, if you try to do that then they they have no reason not to launch their nukes, they already lost. That's the point of MAD, any attempt to fully defeat a nuclear armed nation means everyone loses, which is why Russia will never attack a nuclear armed nation.

If you only push them back to whatever border you want, then they will still be just the other side of that border shooting at you.

Only issue is that thermal prints fade over time.

Also, I really should make a pass on them because some of them have licensed software and serials…

I doubt anyone cares about copyright for software that old?

I just scanned this from "inks for the minor printing processes and specialised applications" by E. A. Apps if it's helpful. https://archive.org/details/typewriter-inks

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any PDF copies of it anywhere.

I've been away from miniature painting for a while, but I just bought the new heroquest and want to paint it.

The miniatures seem to be made of a weird rubber or soft plastic that I've not used before, what kind of primer works best on these? I'm worried normal primer will just flake off.

Edit: I probably should add, I'd prefer something I can shoot through my airbrush.

I'm experiencing a weird bug lately.

When I'm logged in, if I follow an external link (from lemmyverse.net, for instance) to here, the tab that opens is not logged in, and stays that way even if I navigate around the instance. If I then open another new tab, and directly visit mander.xyz, I'm logged in correctly as normal.

I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? I don't know what could cause this or how to find out if it's a bug with lemmy, mander, or my browser config.

You wouldn't pirate a medicine, would you?
