Go back to reddit if you want to support apartheid.

A planned economy ideally, even if that would hardly be immediately doable for most first world countries, as they lack any actual industrial capacity. If all useless jobs were to disappear overnight, most of the population would end up unemployed. In addition a lot of the "economy" of first world countries comes from abusive monetary relationships with third world countries, wish should obviously be ended as soon as possible.

Therefore a transitionary period would be needed, during which we would reindustrialize and develop some level of self-sufficiency. That last part might be less important for the US, as they're unlikely to get sanctioned by themselves.

Eventually a planned economy allows for production for use instead of for sale, providing to each according to their needs, and requiring work according to their abilities.

There's something like that in Pathfinder. Not with a warlock, but a separate class named the kineticist. Basically an elementalist who uses CON as his spellcasting stat, and who's attack reduce his max HP. You could take a look at it for balance, but be aware that the class doesn't use normal spells, so it might be tricky.

Otherwise I also know the Blood Mage sub-class in the Pillars of Eternity game, where you have an ability to cause damage to yourself in exchange for spell slots. The amount of damage you cause to yourself equals the level of spell slot your recover. It's powerful, but not as overpowered as one might due to how the system is designed. Basically you use the same stat for single target attacks and for your special ability, meaning that if it's too high you're quickly gonna kill yourself.

I think the max HP reduction is the way to go, so as to avoid balance issues with healing. That's if you want your class to still have limited spells in the same vein as normal spellcasters, just using health instead. I seriously recommend to take a look at Pathfinder's kineticist. It's a very weird class, but I think it may fit what you're looking for.

I've taken a look at it. I'm not really a shooter fan, but the destructive aspect does seem cathartic. I might give it a try, depending on how cheap I can get it for.

I've been playing a bunch of narrative games like "Suzerain", "The Life and suffering of Sir Brante", "We. The revolution"...

While I did enjoy playing them, I always found myself disappointed at one point or another with the writers taking a stupid stance on some issues like revolutionary violence for example, or even cold war style anti-communist propaganda for some of them.

So I'm curious to know if anyone has had a better experience with this kind of game. Where you can go as far as you want and the game at the very least won't judge you.

PS: I know Disco Elysium, it's one of the few exceptions to this issue.

The other flags look really medieval I guess, so I assumed the world was in that era. As for the Papacy flag, what's the meaning behind the four stripes ? Is it another reference to the four leaf clover ? In addition, black doesn't really feel holy. Maybe that's the intent, but I think gold and white would fit better while keeping the US parallel. Maybe something firey too, to reference the holy fire of the inquisition.

I've read your description for the clover and eyes, but I find the idea that their Jesus got crucified on a clover way too funny.

Your description of the game reminds me a lot of Suzerain. Will all your games take place in this world ?

I think most of the flags are great, but I'm not so sure about the United Papacies one. The top left part is quite good, but the rest feels way to modern imo, and doesn't feel like it captures any appropriate symbolism.

Also, you said this all is for a game. Could you give more details on that please ?

French is a waste of time anyway.

By your teacher's logic it would be safe for Putin to go to the US, as they're not a signatory of the ICC either.

Edit: Just checked, and nor is Ukraine.
