He did a video where he went to Kazakhstan to eat Uyghur food because, in his words, Xinjiang is completely locked down and no one can get in. He also mentioned in the comments that he was paid by the US state department for the video. He later deleted the comment.

It's surprisingly common. Arthur Balfour, who issued the Balfour Declaration that said Britain would support the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine, did so in part because he believed jews were very powerful and it would be dangerous not to. The zionist project is antisemitic at its core and Israel is absolutely disgusting for encouraging antisemitism and as you say, use it as a shield. I didn't mean to say that Israel doesn't lobby and affect US politics but it was the concept of "Israeli infiltration" that bothered me. Israel is an appendage of the US and zionists don't try to hide or be coy about their wants, they lobby for them out in the open, that's not infiltration.

The video has anti-semitic dog whistle vibes saying "Israelis own the media". The video doesn't feel very leftist to me.
