yea Yeah man

I can say PSL's been okay so far, they're just like, normal. I'm hesitant to call them the next calling of Jesus or anything but I haven't had to deal with weird shit like that. Mostly just getting fucked with by people who I'd just like to work with and did before I was publicly PSL sadness

And, an aside, but I had a previous experience as the previous poster where I mostly-anarchist group I was involved with would be the type to criticize PSL and ML org until the group fell apart for sitting on their asses in handling an internal abuser because they had no organizational structure and nobody wanted to execute authority

Literally the situation for me locally right now, all these people do is show up to take free food without helping at FnB and try to "cancel" members of PSL in public group chats and by posting bizarre posters calling it a cult. It's mindwrenchingly stupid.

Okay genuinely tho what is wrong with these radlibs lately, is it just because PSL and FRSO have been more visible? The artwork is clearly just PSL and PSL is, in my experience, much more common than FRSO and basically every other group mentioned in here is defunct. What's wrong with these nerds, I've had to deal with so many of them in real life (from groups I may add that genuinely do just have people who constantly commit SA but nobody does anything because they feel like they don't have the "right" to do it).

If you have kids, you can use subsidized kindergarten in China. But the trick here is that you either pay a fortune directly to the one's pocket, or your kids do not receive a place there.

So if you have money you can send your kids to a private kindergarten which will be partially subsidized by the state? I don't understand, this is how private school works in America as well.

Wow that's crazy! I didn't know they did away with the two systems policy, I must be crazy, because I went there and it was clearly different in numerous ways from the rest of China. Weird!

I also wonder how many people were killed by police during those demonstrations, I know many Americans were killed and gravely injured by their police forces now and during BLM.

Additionally, if HK was such a good democracy beforehand, why did the "pro democracy" camp only have 29 seats out of possible 70 if they represented the majority of people in Hong Kong? Maybe in the US if we had a party that did away with right wingers and made housing more affordable that would be a good thing, it seems to have been working pretty well for HKers since.

Actually yes, it's very common in China to have people maybe mention or discuss the June 4th Incident, in China it's simply called {六四事件| Liù Sì Shìjiàn}. Everyone in China has seen this image, yet still more than 95% of Chinese in a Harvard Study were found to feel positively about the Beijing Government.

Additionally there is very little to no internet censorship in Hong Kong whatsoever due to the One China Two Systems policy. Beyond information of the June 4th incident genuinely being accessible in Mainland China, it's in addition "extra accessible" in HK. Many even speak and read English in Hong Kong due to English colonization so they could look at your post if they wanted.

Chinese people are generally deeply xenophillic in my experience, foreigners in non-foreign filled towns are usually seen as neat oddities. My perspective may not be hollistic, but that was what I experienced with friends of many different nationalities.

Edit: As with all things, every accusation a confession from this imperialist monster

Wait the racism is repugnant but the art style is very cute 😭

The reality of this would be determined at the time of a socialist group taking charge of society and being able to enact these reforms; and would thus be decided by the material reality of that time. In reality socialist policy in the past has simply been to massively reduce the price of these staple goods, and this does well to prevent hunger.
