US Olympics is probably being overly cautious ever since Taliyah Brooks collapsed from exhaustion when they refused to delay a US Olympic trials a couple years back due to extreme heat.

Taliyah was on pace to make it to the Olympics until that happened.

People play too many games with their lives. If a government is telling me not to go to their country, I interpret that as a threat.

The only time I enjoyed a toxic fan base was for the show Under the Dome. Everyone seemed to hate watch the show and it made the whole thing more fun. The toxicity had the benefit of not being about social issues and just about how the show wasn't high quality writing.

Off the top of my head, one thing people hated is that the main character hurt her leg and wore the bandage over her jeans.

If someone actually had a disability, they wouldn't have to do it or would be given other accommodations. That's basically how it was for thousands of years before people had word processors.

If you have

1. lots of money
2. connections overseas
3. and an actual home in another country

I think it's really hard to find an appropriate bail even if you aren't witness tampering.
