Unlike therapy, installing Arch on a Thinkpad works more often than not

Seems like a stretch but I'm familiar with the points you make and I appreciate the connections. I find it hard to believe that Russell was familiar with this particular bit of trivia, that Marx sent Darwin a copy of Das Kapital (which Darwin never read) and to do so would somewhat rehabilitate Malthus who Russell seems to want to associate with Marx -- transferring Malthus's disproven theories onto Marx: one of the leading scholars responsible for thoroughly disproving them.

Surreptitiously accepting Malthus's doctrine of population

Seriously wtf does he mean by this.

Also Marx never mentions Dialectical Materialism, the closest anyone gets is Engels describes their method as a "materialist dialectic."

There are so many errors in just this one paragraph I can't even fathom.

I know the answer but of course I can't help asking it: how can such renowned and educated thinkers be so incredibly wrong so consistently? I have little formal education past high school and have a better grasp of these topics than Bertrand Fucking Russell. I know people who work at grocery stores who make 99% of economists and philosophy professors look like total fools.

Marx was muddle headed? Are you fucking serious??

I think a lot of people would be shocked at how many HBs are over 40

This was my very first thought. My second was the ancient story of David and Goliath, which bears many uncanny resemblances inshallah

Those seeds are also the "property" of Monsanto. If I understand it all correctly, farmers have to buy new seeds every year. Theoretically, if China nationalized its entire agricultural economy and subsidized the or industrialized the process of harvesting enough seeds for the next year, like really took extreme measures to ensure agricultural sovereignty then maybe in some number of years and likely economic tragedies if not famines, they could stabilize production. But if they start harvesting seeds, Monsanto will consider it a violation of their patent rights, stop selling China seeds and the industry will get crushed by the competitive forces of capitalism. Basically there's no way to change without incurring expenses that would tank the industry and even if the state stepped in to take drastic corrective measures they likely wouldn't be able to stave off dire consequences.

Dylan is almost universally good when the song isn't just a paternalistic lecture directed at a woman

Wrt feeling pain, where is the pain? Is it in your hand holding the utensil, or in your head, or all over? I don't think it is extremely commonplace to feel pain when putting a spoon into something soft, but various sensory experiences, even pretty benign ones can be overwhelming. You might have a sensual aversion to it, or there might be a trauma that crops up related somehow to the experience. If you experience neurons diversity, we can have any number of acute reactions to sensory inputs. I definitely feel a physical sensation like pain brought about by acute anxiety, and I've heard others do as well.

They are literally investigating, this is a good place to ask difficult questions, there are no political stakes for being wrong-headed about this, in this context, at this time. If you think Mao was referring to asking better informed comrades questions on internet forums when issuing the edict of "no right to speak," then you need to look at your self. If you see a comrade struggling and you do nothing to help them except repeat some memeified Mao quote then IMO you are not being a comrade and you are not interested in building communism. Put your ego on ice and self crit
