Fair lol. I've decided they are a troll, so I won't feed them further.

Fact. Or a troll

[–] JonsJava@lemmy.world 1 points 4 hours ago

You do realize I'm talking about the planes full of migrants deported without due process, not just one case, right?

Explain how your Mental gymnastics is twisting the literal text into something it's not, and I'll apologize. Give me a line by line of the actual text, not an interpretation. I came with facts. You've come with feelings.

Let's say that the trump admin is deporting gangs. Cool. Gangs are NOT NATIONS OR GOVERNMENTS.

love how you ignored the protections and jurisdictions bit...

Your still wrong.

[–] JonsJava@lemmy.world 2 points 4 hours ago (11 children)

Can you read?

The actual text, from the beginning:

Whenever there is a declared war between the United States and any foreign nation or government, or any invasion or predatory incursion is perpetrated, attempted, or threatened against the territory of the United States by any foreign nation or government...

Don't come at me with opinions of meaning. I gave you the actual text.

[–] JonsJava@lemmy.world 2 points 5 hours ago (13 children)

Nope

It requires a declaration of war. Only Congress can do that.

Furthermore, people being legally deported under that act have protections

Once all that has legally been done, the federal courts have final say.

So, this is all illegal, and you need to read up on things you no nothing about.

Interesting. Didn't know they could allocate funds without Congress.

Sorry for not seeing this earlier. Work was hell today.

Your correct. This isn't racism. I'm reinstating your comment now.

[–] JonsJava@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago

The OP marked this as satire. Leaving it up.

[–] JonsJava@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

It actually is.

[–] JonsJava@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Your splitting hairs at this point.

My point was without SOMETHING to track clicks, you... Don't.

A woman named Laura McCaskill used an Apple AirTag to track down her stolen Harris/Walz campaign sign, which led her to a home in Nixa, Missouri. When confronted, the young man's mother admitted that the signs in the trunk of the car belonged to her son, who she described as "just an idiot."

The incident involved the theft of around 60 signs from various homes in the neighborhood. McCaskill and other residents plan to file police reports, and McCaskill expressed concern about the entitlement and lack of accountability shown by the young man and his mother. The document also discusses the legal implications of stealing campaign signs, referencing Missouri Statute 115.637 which classifies such actions as a misdemeanor offense.

Please note: The new server is hosted in the USA so if you are joining from the EU please expect higher than before ping! This can not be avoided as the generous hoster doesnt have a server in the EU.

The generous hoster is @JonsJava@lemmy.world, thanks to him all this is possible.

The home limits are increased and there will be for everyone who wants it a new spawn where you can build from.

The news mod team has asked to no longer be a part of the project until we have a composite tool that polls multiple sources for a more balanced view.

It will take a few hours, but FOR NOW there won't be a bot giving reviews of the source.

The goal was simple: make it easier to show biased sources. This was to give you and the mods a better view of what we were looking at.

The mod team is in agreement: one source of truth isn't enough. We are working on a tool to give a composite score, from multiple sources, all open source.
