These two young men are fighting the good fight. I wish them the best. I love how eloquent they are, makes it harder for Republicans to dismiss them. (Harder, not impossible)

The problem is that he's calling them out on their racial discrimination, but the Republican supermajority's response is basically "Yeah, we know. We're just wondering when you're gonna get the hint that you're not welcome."

Sad but true fact: The argument becomes much less effective when they wear it as a badge of honor.

Jones blasted the rules proposal over the powers it would give to [Speaker] Sexton, allowing him to shut down speech he deems disruptive.

After which his mic was turned off and his floor speech was deemed “out of order.”

Come on, at least get a little creative with your racist suppression of speech. Nah, never mind, just unironically do the thing you’re being criticized for. Yeah, that’ll work.
