It's the dunk tank.

This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

Rule 1: All posts must include links to the subject matter, and no identifying information should be redacted.

Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

Rule 3: No sectarianism.

Rule 4: TERF/SWERFs Not Welcome

Rule 5: No ableism of any kind (that includes stuff like libt*rd)

Rule 6: Do not post fellow hexbears.

Rule 7: Do not individually target other instances' admins or moderators.

Rule 8: The subject of a post cannot be low hanging fruit, that is comments/posts made by a private person that have low amount of upvotes/likes/views. Comments/Posts made on other instances that are accessible from hexbear are an exception to this. Posts that do not meet this requirement can be posted to !shitreactionariessay@lemmygrad.ml

Rule 9: if you post ironic rage bait im going to make a personal visit to your house to make sure you never make this mistake again

Yeah, I'm sure in 100 years everyone will look back fondly upon these institutions that propped up Western shareholders so that we could keep burning non-renewable resources.

I take anything from Judith Miller's NY Times with many grains of salt.

When it comes to the New York Crimes, I feel like pinches of salt are wholly insufficient and instead need a circle of salt to ward off the evil of publication like that.

The examples it gives of the deep state being good are two workers at NASA and EPA water testing. Sure, technically they are "the deep state" by being unelected bureaucrats, but not what most people mean when invoking the term.

Hey now, let’s not get too hasty! As reasonable centrists, I think we can all agree that the FDA testing for asbestos in baby powder is 💯 comparable to the 3-letter agencies committing war crimes and immiserating the global south. /s

It is very funny that they’re using the labour of random public sector employees to launder the reputation of ghouls that have meaningful political power.

Fukuyama made this argument 2 years ago.

Liberals are all pro democracy but deep inside they just like to be ruled by the leviathan
