American companies that are trying to dismantle unions need to understand that unions were a compromise to protect the companies. Because this is the alternative.
This issue extends to politicians as well. If you replace "Ancien Régime" with "Oligarchy-flavored Republic" it's almost like we're living the beginning script of the French Revolution here in America.
