Neither, I'm on Queen's Domain, it was cheap and it's goddamn great.
No.
I'm getting Queen's Domain 😛
It's been favorably compared to Lunacid, which I love to bits, and well received by King's Field-like enthusiasts, and I'm kinda one of them so, it's a no-brainer.
But you do you, folks. Have fun!
Neither
No.
No.
I'll probably pirate Ocarina when the Switch 2 gets CFW and buy GTA when it hits $15ish.
Neither. Nintendo and Rockstar are both scumbag companies. I will probably pirate GTA 6 in a couple years, whoever buys that game for the singleplayer is lost, it's just shipping GTA:O assets ahead of time. They showed, they don't care about singleplayer with GTA 5 and GTA (5) Online.
I will probably pirate GTA 6 in a couple years
with all the AI assisted Sony hacks and PS5 emulation advancing so rapidly you probably won't need to wait that long
Whichever gets emulated.
Whichever gets emulated.
Good news! Looks like it might be both!
I'll play the 6th remaster for both next year
I was just watching a streamer play OOT; I think in her case I was there for her personality and begrudgingly accepting shiny wet plastic world of Hyrule.
Need to be able to afford the console first.
I'll get GTA in a few years. Probably on PC and definitely not at full price.
I'll play Ocarina but not this one. Don't have a Switch 2 and have no real interest in changing that.
No. I never played Zelda and I stopped with GTA at Vice City.
Imma finally give GTAV another try. Noped out pretty early when I couldn't maneuver a motorcycle for a mission the first time around.
Was it the first heist, where you escape through the tunnels in motorcycles? I remember having an insanely tough time at that section when I played the game for the first time on XB360.
I chose the option with the driver that gave the crew souped up street motorcycles for the first try because fast bike go vroom. I kept running into shit in the tunnels though because I was too fast. Attempted that section several times before I finally broke through the other side of it, and there wasn't a sense of accomplishment when I finished. I was just annoyed with the mission and relieved it was over. When I played it on pc years later, I chose the other driver and had a fun time in the runnels.
The other diver gives you dirt bikes, and that's the one you want. So much easier, and you actually get more of a payout at the end because one of your crew wipes out in the tunnels with the fast street motorcycles, just like I did probably 100x ten years earlier.
Neither, I don't have any modern consoles. Well unless you count Steam Deck.
I would buy GTA6 if it was on PC.
Just a heads up: Rockstar deliberately broke Linux support for GTA Online. In fact, the game worked seamlessly for years until they added BattlEye anti-cheat and chose not to enable Linux support (an option BattlEye literally provides with a simple toggle).
Between Steam, GOG, Humble Bundle, Itch, Fanatical, Prime, and all the retro emulation stuff, I have more games than I have life left.
In this economy?
For REAL. I haven't upgraded my PC in years, let alone thought about getting a console. I'm good with just getting a random $5-$20 indie game now and then and working on my old backlog.
I mean, what was this 300 game backlog for, if not to let me survive this economical gaming winter?
I'd rather buy a life-changing indie game, honestly
No switch 2, so no Zelda for me. It's ok though I just got used copies of BotW and totk off the marketplace last year and only just beat BotW. Never been a GTA fanboy so I'll wait for a deep discount. My only day 1 purchases are from fromsoft and cdpr.
Neither franchise interests me.
But I wish that everyone playing either will have a good time with them.
This is such a welcoming take, thank you for it. I wish more people shared your attitude
Neither. I'm not even a patient gamer or broke (I bought the new Fire Emblem in September and still playing it), I just never got into GTA and didn't love Ocarina of Time on 3DS enough to replay a seemingly barely upgraded version. You'd have to pay me to do it, honestly.
Also, my backlog is very thick.
Neither. Already played OoT on the 3DS and I'd rather get started on my used copy of GTA V on the PS4.
I'll play GTA VI when used copies eventually climb down in price. /s
Nah, I'm a patient gamer. I'll wait at least for the PC version of GTA and reviews from both, then I gotta finish Persona 3, The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Expedition 33 and a couple of other games first before I got time for GTA.
And while the new Zelda looks great I'm not sure it's enough of a reason for a Switch 2. Maybe when they remake Majora's Mask, my favorite Zelda, I might be thinking about that more seriously.
I'm excited for you to start Expedition 33. I recently finished it and loved it.
It was fun. But idk why they pushed that reaction timing thing into to gameplay. It seemed so arbitrary to me. No need to ruin a good turn based game.
I burned out on it so hard because I never got the hang of the dodge and parry mechanics. It's a shame too, it has so much else going for it
Neither, fuck Rockstar, fuck Nintendo
Nope, I never buy games on release. I'll wait until GTA is 75% off on Steam in several years' time.
I love Zelda but there's no fucking way I'm shelling out for a Switch 2 rn. I'm with the "in this economy?" guy
Definitely Zelda. N64 games sold for like $70 new IIRC, and to quote Bubs, "Them's 1998 dollars!" So as far as I'm concerned a ground-up remake like this is worth it, especially since I didn't play it on 3DS.
Thankfully I still have an N64 and the original game so those $70 is still kicking.
Neither. I never really cared for the 3d zeldas. Also, Nintendo and Rockstar are very anti-consumer. Rockstar has also been bad to their own employees and I've not seen any indication that they have turned over a new leaf.
Nope. Over a decade of anti-consumer practices or churning out broken and unfinished cash grabs vaguely disguised as games have convinced me that pretty much every AAA dev studio and major publisher don't deserve my money. I've been more than happy lately sticking to indie titles and playing games from the late 2000s or older
I plan on replaying Link to the Past on my Steam Deck on Zelda drop day, so I can tell all my friends I'm playing the best Zelda ever.
Gonna pirate GTA at some point but it'll take a few years
PS5 emulation is already here. They've been advancing it at an insane pace.
All we need is the GTA6 game files and oh boy they've been trying. Sony has been releasing update after update desperately trying to stop people from finding a new entrypoint and no shot it's gonna stop people with this many fans so upset at them.
We're about to see some nerds pull a GTA6 piracy any% speedrun and it's going to be hilarious
At the very least I GUARANTEE it'll happen before it comes out on PC. The only thing I'm worried about is if someone puts malware in the crack.
