Every accusation is a confession. Every one.

This would be such an excellent slogan for ad for the Democrats, it’s a wonder why they never used it

[–] db2@lemmy.world 34 points 3 days ago

Mainly because most of them are not interested in meaningful change that includes them losing "perks" they like. There are a few but the established ones won't let them rock the boat too much.

[–] Tolookah@discuss.tchncs.de 5 points 3 days ago (1 children)

That sounds like an ad that some PAC could create, and run nationally with minor changes.

[–] grue@lemmy.world 9 points 3 days ago

PACs require funding, and between the working class and the corporate oligarchs, I'll give you one guess as to which has the money.

“I oppose letting men in women’s locker rooms and voted to let parents, not politicians, make decisions for their kids,” Trone Garriott said in a recent ad that drew criticism from some LGBTQ+ activists.

"Let's keep moving further to the right to try to capture voters that will never vote for us!" -Dems

Barrack Hussein Obama has been running a shadow-cabal out of the basement of a pizzeria in the basement of a girl's school in Iran and shipping them out in boats disguised as oil tankers via the strait of hormuz, and transferring them to fake fishing boats around Venezuela ok authority of Moduro. So it's reeeaaally his fault for the wars and gas prices

That's exactly how they think.

The responding officer said he spoke to her after spotting her parked in grass on the side of a highway, that her speech was very slurred and she “appeared to have difficulty comprehending” questions, according to an affidavit included in court filings. A preliminary breath test displayed a .254 blood alcohol content, three times the .08 legal limit for driving, and a test taken at the jail displayed a .192 level, the affidavit says.

Holy shit!

Just so we're clear about whether this is one of those things that was technically a violation but not actually "that" bad... no, this really was that bad. .254 and delirious on the side of the road!

[–] Zak@lemmy.world 40 points 3 days ago (5 children)

.254 isn't just getting a little carried away. That's three bottles of wine or a whole bottle of hard liquor.

Do you know that song by Phil Collins? In the air of the night?

[–] stringere@sh.itjust.works 8 points 3 days ago

Among the likely many many other things she needs to be treated for, I hope they get her help with the drinking also. That's real red flag hardcore alcoholic level BAC while still being conscious.

EDIT: Nope. It's a totally different piece of blonde shit.

Is this the chick in the Anti-Talarico ad from Texas?

Because the Republicans blocking the release of the Epstein Files feels pretty dangerous to kids, if you ask me.

She tried to play it off too like it was, "Just an OUI," an OUI isn't a just anything.

By Laura Beveridge

A Republican woman in a campaign commercial gave a grave warning about Sarah Trone Garriott, the Democratic candidate in one of Iowa’s most competitive House districts.

“When it comes to our kids, Sarah is just plain dangerous,” says Shellie Flockhart, a Dallas Center city councilwoman identified in the ad by her first name.
