I used to work as a sound guy for an indie/punk club in the US. As such I saw a LOT of live music. Two Japanese bands that were really interesting to see live in all that time are Eastern Youth, and Thug Murder.
I love quite a few bands, but nothing can every quite replace the dead kennedys
Those ones are better if you understand French: vulgaires machins (from Québec), poésie zéro, vulves assassines
Otherwise: jetsex (still from France but lyrics are in English), ass of spades (Switzerland), Royal republic (Sweden), refused (Sweden too), beach moonsters (France)
PS: die Ärtze is probably my favorite band from Germany. The guitarist (Farin Urlaub) is also a solo artist and tours with his band: Farin Urlaub Racing Team.
Found a band called Gazoline a few years ago when I was in Quebec city. Don't speak French so I have no opinion on their lyrics, but i still listen to them because I enjoy the music
Music is a universal language, almost none of the ones I listed perform in English. I'm just here for good beats! Will check out some of those you listed :D

Classic power trio, all their songs are about two minutes long and cover working-class Australian topics like being too broke for the bus, being too broke for some pub grub, the price of smokes being too high, needing a functioning car, and of course don't bother me because I'm on smoko
Just saw them at Riot Fest and they were one of my highlights of the festival.
I don’t listen to a lot of bands outside of US and UK, but I’m happy you provided some in your post! I’m going to check them out and keep an eye on what other people suggest in the comments ☺️
