Seriously, everything about conservatives is so easy to make fun of.

They really are like 8 year old boys - Hegseth swears the Department of Defense is the Department of War and blabbers about "lethality" and how manly his men are. Also, no girls allowed in his club.

Donnie thinks he knows space because of his uncle who died in 1985, but has to dress that up in a "Space Force", because exploring place without making it sound macho might be gay.

Also, donnie wants to prop up the AI bubble to make more money for himself, so has to dress it up in creating an "AI Force" with a "czar" leading it. Remember when everyone was having the vapors over Obama's "czars"?

And with this, donnie wants a fancy ballroom and a fancy arch, but has to dress it up in war talk.

This is the same person that raped a child and shits his diapers daily. Who gives a shit what he says

[–] dhork@lemmy.world 38 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Who gives a shit what he says

Just enough of Congress (and the Supreme Court) to let him get away with shit like this.

[–] lIlIlIlIlIlIl@lemmy.world 16 points 1 week ago

Do you think he’s saying this stuff for the people already in his pocket? Of course not.

This blathering is for the people, who should keep in mind that the person they voted for has greasy slimy shit running down his leg when he talks like this

a child

No. Not 'a' child. Many, many children. Quite probably even his own daughter. This man is a true monster of the human variety. Everybody laugh.

Inside will be hidden all the pictures of trump sex trafficking little girls. Only to be discovered in two hundred years by Nic Cages great grandson following clues left by by the administrations civil servants placed in the ballroom and Kennedy Center construction. The last clue will be at the bottom of the reflecting pool.

that’s the workaround to get things approved quicker and unregulated

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 24 points 1 week ago

Oh, I realize, but the only people that really seem to fall for this cover story are conservatives:

It's a ballroom.....BUT WITH GUNZ N STUFF!

It's an arch.....BUT WITH GUNZ N STUFF!!!!

/proceed to rubberstamp whatever bullshit donnie is pitching...

In a sane world, a building full of things that go boom could not ever be built over a street or anywhere in a city.

[–] Sludgehammer@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

Yep this is just Trump learning from the ballroom and leading with "Umm... actually my tacky multi billion dollar boondoggle is a vital security installation. We need it for national security and stuff."

[–] dudeface@lemmy.world 12 points 1 week ago

I don’t think he has a firm grasp on reality

An arch stuffed full of guns and explosives, like a concrete death piñata. It’s the fantasy invention of a four-year-old. Actually my four-year-old could probably come up with something more practical.

We can put guns on top of it that fire laser beams! And rockets to make it blast off into space!

Might as add another arch and make a “M,” as a tribute to cronyism.

[–] koella@lemmy.zip 10 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Concrete Death Piñata is a great band name

You oughta just paint a big bright red Bullseye on it while you're at it!

[–] Alexstarfire@lemmy.world 11 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Wait, store weapons? Good, easier to demolish.

[–] cannedtuna@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

Prime military target

[–] Not_mikey@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (1 children)

If they're anything like the Nazi flak towers they'll be here for a while. Even though they're a huge eye soar and reminder of a horrible past they can't demolish them without nuking it.

One attempted demolition of the zoo tower after the war: giant explosion

After: building standing mostly intact

[–] NABDad@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

If Trump is building it, it will disintegrate and collapse in just a few years.

[–] Lushed_Lungfish@lemmy.ca 7 points 1 week ago

You are going to build a public monument and then stuff it full of weapons requiring high security?

[–] NABDad@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

He needs to say it's going to be the largest public bathroom in the U.S.

Put his face in the toilet bowls, and I'd be happy to shit there.

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

What weapons will the ballroom store?

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Our ding-a-ling of a president claims it will be a "drone port".

He also claims any drone that hits it will "bounce off" and that it will be missile proof, too.

This is the guy where it's not entirely clear if he understands that stealth planes are not invisible, though...

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 week ago

I hope there's an accident in the ballroom

[–] xenomor@lemmy.world -1 points 1 week ago

I will not vote for any Democrat for president rhat doesn't have dismantling his construction projects in their platform.
