  1. Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
  2. Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including all information that can initiate conversations when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
  3. Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).

Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world

Heard one barfing somewhere on the first floor this morning. Can't find the evidence. That'll be a fun surprise later! Glad I just mopped.

The girls were playing with a couple of their favorite toys in the entryway rug all morning and kept scrunching it up at the door. Somebody or something's gonna get stapled to the floor real soon.

Jinx is sitting next to me having a bath.

My cat jumped on the bed this morning to ask for food. Apparently he forgot we have a dog and hissed really loud and sprang off the bed.

Wife's cat bit our child unprovoked. So he's in timeout.

I found out my dog has cancer earlier this year., but fortunately she isn't in any pain and she's her same, obnoxious self. She's turning 9 this week and everyone thinks she's still a puppy. I'm in the middle of moving and she's just hanging out and laying in all the open spaces she couldn't before in my old apartment.
