'Aghast' is more likely that 'they' (probably no-one in reality) were yawning at yet another tirade of nonsense. I know what you're thinking, there's been articles like this for years that makes you wonder how anyone could still think something like this. This is essentially tabloid, clickbait crap. That's why. When the mainstream papers really start calling out the lunacy (repeatedly) you'll know it's nearly over for him. Sadly some time away yet.
It's just headline gore. Typical "View From Nowhere" style writing that tries to displace the perspective of the journalist onto a third party.
It's popular among news venues that are terrified of appearing biased.
next, they'll be telling us "wait, guys... his skin, it looks orange!" like it's news

There has been something obviously "very wrong" with him for years. Decades, even.
In the 1980s, Trump always made Spy magazine's "Top 10 Worst People, Places or Things" list. His one "mitigating factor" was always "at least he's not in politics".

He's got dementia and he confabulates. He's probably had it starting in like 2016 and this term they are trying to not to make him angry so they just show him shit he wants to see.
He's also had at least one stroke in 2025. That ones pretty undeniable, and there's a lot of evidence he may have had more since.
Did you see that video of him talking to an AI Roosevelt and the dumb fuck was actually talking back to the AI thinking he was actually talking to Teddy. Absolute buffoonery.

He's elderly, ill, and has dementia, on top of the fact that he may very well be the dumbest human to walk the earth in several millennia, this is not news to anyone.
That's what's blowimg my mind. Yeah he's old, demented, has always been surrounded by dumb yes men. But even putting that aside, he's just as dumb as a sack of rocks. Always has been.
Its said he used to be quite charming and manipulative, so its not really stupidity. I think he may have a personality disorder. His choices often aren’t contemplated, but rash and emotional.
There’s also a pattern to his actions. Absolutely none of his decisions seem to be governed by empathy, morality, ideology, strategic national interests or even long term personal interests. Instead, nearly all his actions seem impulsive and emotional, aimed at satisfying his short term personal need for gratification, admiration or payback.
His frequent tantrums, his impulsive decision making, his inability to maintain composure, his inability to maintain professional relationships, together they all point to some sort of mental illness.

Not to mention, the US is a signatory of the Outer Space Treaty, recognizing space as neutral ground and subject to the same legal precedent as maritime law governing international waters.

American treaties have a long history of being ignored. Treatment of the native peoples, for example.

Its sad that it takes such ludicrous displays before people acknowledge that “there is something wrong with Trump”. And then large chunks of them will in the next breath continue to support him.
You're being distracted by those cunts theatrical dramas while the feds are building modern surveillance and profiling. Trump is a plant.
They can't even take a strait, or maintain equipment, and have issues with feeding their people. So yes, the us should totally try to "take" over the moon.
Invading an undefended unpopulated rock might just be achievable by the current US military. Although I have some doubt that anyone in the current US administration knows about the lack of oxygen.

Trump also shared an image of the moon that included the text, “THE MOON IS OURS,” alongside an American flag.
