Though in my defense, sometimes those extra details are exactly the things that would change the end conclusion.
I have a second monitor on different specific spot in the office. As part of a disability aid.
I don’t need it often but when i do it needs to be reliable.
It contained stickers with my name, my department and a really big sticker “PLEASE DO NOT MOVE THIS MONITOR”
Last i needed it i found it in a different hallway in an environment where its useless, stickers removed.
Can anyone blame me writting a big letter adressed to “the users of this screen” to make it clear those stickers are on it for a reason.
Write your name on it and a phone number and/or contact details?
It had an sticker from IT with my name on it and my department which they really should be familiar with its as you pass us to get there.
Alas my letter will now also include my company mail adres now. But i am fearful for whoever did it originally is not going to care now either.
Of course if you ask around to others people in the area no one knows or saw anything.
I have just stopped talking to people. Explaining a concept that's clear in my head drains me more than masking. I've just stopped all of it.

It's not quite the same, I can't downvote and move on in real life.
And miss that one detail that would've been critical..

Then you get misunderstood anyway because everyone else is speaking using vibes instead of words and your vibe-ometer is malfunctioning
Thankfully, my job is over explaining technical concepts to people who need the information for a short period, every couple of months. They're generally very appreciative that I can hold the information and explain it to them when they need. Nobody knows much about me, but they know I'm helpful.
As I insert a blank line before starting the fourth paragraph of a text message:
"Maybe I'm providing a bit too much detail... Should I take a few sentences to explain why?"
Most people diagnosed as autistic are simply using their brains.
It is in everyone's best interests to be specific, to clarify, to reduce potential confusion.
Stupid people serve fascism. Educate them.

This just ends up being an overfit and impedes understanding mostly because you are forcing someone down a funnel that their brain is not suited for. Leave it simple, let the other side generalize and get questions when necessary.

For real though, I tend to spend a lot more time editing and revising anything i write than simply writing. Sometimes for my own sake, so i don't forget an important detail or something--but even now as i begin writing this comment i find myself obliged to expand and clarify my thoughts. I want to make sure my statements aren't misunderstood, so i tend to spend a fair amount of time re-reading to make sure the message is clear and the tone matches it.
Now you can't even use em-dashes eithout being called a clanker! so you gotta be sure to replace it with -- or remove it entirely
No. Absolutely not. Never. I certainly do not have an issue with it so bad that it would show up on my lemmy comments either.
Writes an entire essay to state a simple point. Why didn't they reply? My argument was so interesting!

You need to find the efficient balance between being vague then having to explain yourself further and taking too long pre-explaining things that the other person would have been able to piece together on their own
