Maybe we don't allow the human torch in a building full of wood and sawdust.

”Human Torch, come quickly! A gunpowder golem has taken some kids hostage at the fireworks factory!”

Spider Man can just relax and take some photos for the Bugle because NFL Superpro already did all the work

Ah, NFL Superpro

The superhero created to get free season tickets

Grayfield, who is tied up and helpless, knocks over experimental chemicals, which — in combination with the fire and ultra-rare football souvenirs going up in flames — do not incinerate him, but turn him into a near-invincible superhero.

It makes as much sense as any origin

It's also great because his costume is actually a super-advanced protective suit that was supposed to eliminate the chances of football players being injured

He just takes it and runs around throwing footballs at mobsters

I like how one of his enemies is VAR

Missed opportunity for a referee-coded supervillain

Probably would have gotten one if there were more than 12 issues total

USA #1 got more and that was just a comic about a semi truck driver getting into scraps

His greatest adversary, Fumble

With the power to make people drop everything

I love the Flash's (which is oddly similar): dude gets struck by lightning while surrounded by ~*chemicals*~! In Flashpoint he loses his powers and, to get them back, has Batman strap him to an electric chair and dump a bunch of random chemicals on him.

I'm a fake comics fan, but who are the Fantastic 4.5?

[–] ClathrateG@hexbear.net 7 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (1 children)

It's Mr Fantastic and the Invisible Woman's kid, I guess they aren't old enough to count as an entire person and make it the Fantastic 5

[–] LaGG_3@hexbear.net 8 points 1 week ago

Nine Inch Nails? No, I only like Four and a Half Inch Screws. torment

How does this fit in with the MCU?
