I've always found her exceptionally attractive.

Go for it! What could go wrong?

Has she never held any knife before?

[–] OpenStars@discuss.online 7 points 3 weeks ago

That's... part of the charm? 🤷

[–] Stupidmanager@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago

I mean, the pointy bit is away and last I checked it does not matter which way is up if she wanted to stab you as long as the pointy bit faces away. But hey, it’s been a while since I was stabbed and she looks like she got the stabby face. I Might not remember correctly.

I don't know that anyone can bring back the part of you that's missing.

[–] rainwall@piefed.social 9 points 3 weeks ago

Pure mirin' energy.

Actually, funny story. I have big eyes similar to hers. When I smile normally, they squint so I look like I'm closing my eyes or sleeping (and my eyelids are very trigger-happy with flash so it's a double whammy). I then get the feedback to "open my eyes" and I end up looking insane like that photo. So it's a lose-lose situation.

In general I photograph poorly tbh, I look better in mirrors and in motion 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

[–] Test_Tickles@lemmy.world 29 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

Same. Rather than "opening your eyes" raise your eyebrows. This will "open your eyes" a bit without summoning the full crazy eyes.

As someone who has literally decades worth of pictures that look like they were taken "moments before the incident", I am glad I can help.

I also must admit that the thought that literally dozens of people around the world are flexing their foreheads because of me is very amusing.

This is so smart, will do tyty

[–] banause@feddit.org 10 points 3 weeks ago

You are overthinking 😂

[–] ComfortableRaspberry@feddit.org 7 points 3 weeks ago

All my siblings and I do the same. There is an image from the wedding of one of my sister's. And the only person without crazy goggle-eyes is a sister in law in the back of the photo.

[–] perishthethought@piefed.social 59 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

She must be, what, like 5 years older now?

Nothing new that the internet at large would latch on to.

Holy shit. Have your ad block up in full force before clicking that link and getting forwarding and McAfee cancer.

[–] db2@lemmy.world 20 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Sorry, I have at least two layers of ad blocking, I forgot to check that.

It's not your job protecting the non-blockers. It's their own shame.

[–] TehWorld@lemmy.world 13 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I wasn’t gonna bother with the link, but I wanted to see how good my blocking was. Pihole has about a half million blocked sites and not a single ad or anything.

[–] ColeSloth@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 3 weeks ago

I use an apk called "Thunder" for Lemmy and it stays in apk for links, but doesn't have ad blockers. Other than that issue it's awesome for doom scrolling on here.

Good for her, knows what she wants and knows when to step away. I hope she's doing ok now. Thank you for sharing the story.

That's a lot of words for "She created a meme by doing a Justin Bieber parody, then did YouTube from 2010-2019, then disappeared from the internet".

[–] SeventySeven@sh.itjust.works 19 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I was more so just reflecting on how much time has passed since 2012 when AdviceAnimals memes like this were still relevant and popular. Unfortunately, much more time than "5 years" has passed since those days, we are all old now and the time is gone :(

[–] grrgyle@slrpnk.net 7 points 3 weeks ago

I ated all of the time, sorryyyy 🫪

[–] ScoffingLizard@lemmy.dbzer0.com 20 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Didn't her and Scumbag Steve meet once? Or was that the girl from the Stacy meme?

[–] rants_unnecessarily@piefed.social 4 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

According to my abysmal memory, that was Stacy.

[–] CallMeButtLove@lemmy.world 12 points 3 weeks ago

I know Laina but who's the other person?

[–] smeenz@lemmy.nz 2 points 3 weeks ago

This picture is now the new meme
