Just like Cortana. They had good luck in one small niche (vs code) and now they're going to just shotgun it into every product

Cortana is from 2014, VS Code from 2015.

I've heard it doesn't even work too well with code. I haven't tried it yet myself so I can't vouch for it

You can visit copilot.microsoft.com from anywhere (even on Windows 11 the Copilot feature is nothing but a web view) and Android is Linux.
