Does no one bother with quality control anymore?
The fact that it misspelled Texas but got Wyoming correct is pretty hilarious.
Has middle school subjects changed so much that they need new materials? Or are they avoiding paying for licensed educational materials?
The certificate still needs to come from the school, but it's now up to parents to educate their children.
It's been getting worse over the past several years, and for the most part teachers are not to blame, their hands are tied by admin, and some really awful parents, too.
Read /r/teachers for some insight, especially if you have kids in elementary school.
