They are playing the system. They know eventually a judge will hold them responsible. Their last move is who will enforce it... the DOJ?
Individual lawyers can have their law licenses revoked for their involvement. Not everyone is willing and able to sacrifice everything for the Orange shit gibbon
I'd argue that by this point, any lawyers with integrity who worked there are already gone.
In the spirit of calling cops pigs, I'm thinking we should start calling DOJ lawyers joey: little kangaroos, with their little kangaroo courts.
I'm onboard
More than you think. I believe the DOJ lost 70% of lawyers in 2025 alone:
https://www.npr.org/2025/05/19/g-s1-66906/trump-civil-rights-justice-exodus
I heard later stories report 75%.
Now, anyone they hired into the circus to try and replace them surely lacked integrity as a prerequisite.
The article you posted says one small division in DOJ lost 70% of its attorneys. The DOJ didn't lose 70% of its attorneys. There are a LOT more divisions in DOJ than just Civil Rights. Also, the picture showed is a lot smaller than what it actually is because each box can break down into more than 1 office.
Yeah. It's so bad that they're offering $25k signing bonuses for lawyers.
Used to be, DOJ didn't have to do that because they had massive numbers of excessively qualified applicants climbing over each other to apply.
They didn't say integrity, they said law license. You don't need integrity for one of those.
A federal judge can fine every lawyer that worked on any part of this $5000 a day until they quit the DoJ or the judge has the files in hand. That's civil contempt and there isn't a fucking thing the DoJ can do about it.
“The wheels of justice turn slowly but grind exceedingly fine.”
Yeah? Is that how they got the Zodiac? Is that why Mitch McConnell died with dignity?
Fuckin’ grease ‘em with whatever lubricants you can find, you peanut buttered snails.
Narrator: In a surprise to no one, the cowards didn't fucking do it.
No chance they do it now. They'll do it when Trump is likely already dead, if (and only if) a proper democrat and congress comes into power, and when the sentiment tides signifigantly shift. To the point where that MAGA neighbor suddenly pretends he never voted for Trump (he voted for him 3 times. maybe 4).
Then they will probably get 1-2 lawyers on the hook, take their license, and give them a consultant role elsewhere in government as an olive branch. Justice. I sure hope to be proven wrong, but something tells me we won't learn from Reconstruction.
Once again I'm worried that absolutely nothing of consequence will occur and I have to sit here and stew in anger as our republic desiccates and rots from within T-T
They'll get right on to this in a decade or so. I mean the wheels of justice turn slowly, and we wouldn't want to undermine a sitting president or anything.
Dont forget that the establishment is not only guilty of inaction, but also preventing others from trying to stop things as well.
The president has not been accused of criminal wrongdoing, and one’s appearance in the Epstein files does not suggest otherwise.
What kind of bullshit cover your ass disclaimer is that? Trump has most certainly been accused of crimes in the Epstein files.
Trump is guilty as fuck.
Prevents the spectre withholding under the president having absolute immunity from cropping up. Might be bullshit, but the judge probably wanted to quash that train from ever leaving the station.
Odd because these files are well before Trump's presidency, let alone when that immunity clause was ruled.
Maybe. But, do you really think his cult's attorneys wouldn't make the argument in bad faith anyway?
I'm accusing that fuck right now!. Fix the disclaimer!
WTF are they waiting for? It's been a year. Any justification for redacting or withholding the files was thrown out the window when they publicly released a list of all the victims.
Need to get the votes. Chickenshits wont even table the motion otherwise.
And fetterman. Fuck fetterman.
Whoa guys, lookout! This judge "could" do it and he doesn't use the word "could" lightly.
Extremely minor chance of minor consequences. For the biggest coverup of the biggest scandal.
Threats of a long serious talk.
Might even do a Susan Collins!

Which means what? What are they going to do to the president? That man hasn't been punished for a single fucking thing in his entire life.
Judges have repeatedly said that Trump's admin has violated their orders and they STILL haven't done anything.
Fucking DO IT. You make yourself look useless with these empty threats.
They are useless when "the law" only applies to the out group
Send. Raylan. Givens.
...or else!
*menacing gesture*
Surely that'll do.
Hell yeah! Slap em with that $500/day fine the taxpayers eventually cover. That'll show them.
Just do it. It is clear that the Trump Regime is not dealing in good faith.
While at it, the judge should offer armed deputization to close relatives of the Epstein victims, for the purposes of enforcing court orders. The executive isn't going to arrest itself.
Oh no! Another hollow threat that carries no meaningful punitive consequences. What ever will the DOJ do?
Sure, add it to the pile (of stuff they'll never be punished for).
What if we were immune to prosecution also, and we just haven't been breaking any laws to test it?
Disbar the lot of them. Then throw them all into a dank hole
An oubliette, you might say.
If you can't find a dank hole, store bought is fine
"I have a job to administer justice, and I take that very seriously.”
Not seriously enough to actually do it, just serious enough to send strongly worded letters threatening to do it while being continually ignored over and over fot ehe better part of a year.
They won’t be
Oh, could they be?
Sure. They could face a lot of repercussions for a lot of different bullshit.
But will they? No, of course not. Don't be silly.
How about we report when something ACTUALLY happens.
So…… they’re gonna do something, right? Right?
At some point we'll need to throw are hands in the air and admit defeat. The bad guys won. They've been winning for a long while now.
If nothing has been done by now nothing will be done. They just keep getting away with it over and over and over again.
