Goddammit, you're supposed to send furries to the pet groomers. Trans people go to Aamco... For a trans mission.

Double "A" MCO

I so need to get my smarts up on repairing a tranny. I got a dodgy one in my Samurai it likes to jump out of 3rd gear when you put the power on... Which is funny my motorcycle has more horsies than my Zuk

Ain't no way this random salon owner can duly comply with the rightful decision from that board and still keep their business going. May the 'Finding Out' ring loud and true, for once.

Won't the likely just phoenix the company?

Plenty of bigots will flock to them. They'll probably end up with more business than before.

[–] hitmyspot@aussie.zone 1 points 3 weeks ago

Lol, you think the bigots are reasonable, well adjusted clients?

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

A bunch of obnoxious assholes who don't tip?

[–] chiliedogg@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Bigots tip other bigots. They also give them a ton of business.

Remember when Chik-fil-A got caught giving money to organizations trying to have all gay people in Africa killed? Conservatives did a huge nationwide "Buycott" and gave them more money than they lost in the boycott.

Bigots tip other bigots.

If you're cutting hair, you're not in the club.

I've never heard more openly-racism and homophobia than the guys talking at one of my hometown barbershops.

[–] Blade9732@lemmy.world 29 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

In before SCOTUS rules that the founding fathers definitely meant to let hairstylists refuse service to people and send them to pet groomers

So we can finally send MAGA to sheep farm for shearing.

[–] Quokka@quokk.au 15 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

They’ve already been fleeced.

[–] Jhex@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

Yes, but not hard enough for them tolearn the lesson… For once, they shall be taught as they wish others to be taught to the beating should continue until they learn or go extinct

[–] Triumph@fedia.io 2 points 3 weeks ago

They need to have their balls bitten off by shepherds.

I can't imagine simultaneously thinking of people as sheep and being disappointed in how sheeplike they act. Like, my brother in Christ, it is you who is characterizing them as sheep, and those things are bred to be okay with being fleeced. Find a better metaphor.

[–] luthis@lemmy.nz 5 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Wouldn't that make the metaphor even more accurate?

[–] SarahValentine@lemmy.blahaj.zone -1 points 3 weeks ago

No. See: Zootopia

[–] SnoopSqueak@lemmy.today 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I can't imagine simultaneously thinking of people as sheep and being disappointed in how sheeplike they act.

But that's the whole point. We are disappointed in them for acting sheeplike, for letting someone fleece them instead of thinking more critically. They are humans and should know better.

Either way, I don't think sheep should be exploited.

[–] SarahValentine@lemmy.blahaj.zone -1 points 3 weeks ago

If you call them sheep and talk endless shit about them then you should expect nothing less from them.

A better metaphor would one of a lion, chained and humiliated, robbed of its strength, made to believe it's a lowly sheep. This whole sheeple thing is petty and vindictive to the point of being counterproductive.

[–] nocturne@slrpnk.net 4 points 3 weeks ago

No, because they would likely abuse the sheep.

[–] ZILtoid1991@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

That will lead to you getting jailed for discrimination immediately, with all your close relatives being smeared too.

[–] Tylerdurdon@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

We the people, do hereby decree...

[–] Estiar@sh.itjust.works 4 points 3 weeks ago

Huh. I used to use the laundromat a few doors down. There are some great places in traverse City that we can go to anyway. We've got a good trans/LGBT in general Community there. And we give each other business recommendations. Granted, I never got a haircut there but I'm trying to get more hair.
