Server issue, double posting and phantom error messages (lemmy.blahaj.zone)

Is this the place to report server issues or is somewhere else better?

I just now tried to post a comment on transjoy, it gave an error message. I retried and it worked. However, the comment posted twice. I can only assume the first error message was given in error.

I assume the same thing happened to someone else this morning. A double post on transjoy with an apperant error on the first attempt.

I'm having a similar issue when loading comment threads, error first attempt, works the second time. I think they might be related. Tested when logged in on jerboa and alexandrite. I get the following errors upon loading a comment thread:

Lemmy Error: couldn't_mark_post_as_read (status 400)

Lemmy Error: Couldn't find post (status 400)

Then it works on the second attempt. I've not been able to reproduce the issue when logged out.

First attempt at posting: "couldn't_like_post"

Edit: second time success

Edit 2: no errors during edits

Edit 3: first attempt did post despite error message. I deleted the initial post and then got an error posting this edit.

I've been seeing something similar. Will see what we can do, but we're currently in the "loading the moving truck" stage of moving house, so please bear with us if it takes a bit to get to the bottom of it

Just wanted to say I am now experiencing this issue, or some other issue that manifests the same way. Apparently @AnxiousMiisha@lemmy.blahaj.zone is also experiencing this based on the comment here. It isn't horribly disruptive, so I don't mean to pressure anyone for a fix, I just wanted to let you know that this still appears to be an issue. I only noticed it starting today, however, which is strange given how old this post is.

Note: It doesn't appear to happen on the website (at least not with the Photon frontend; haven't tested others), but it is happening to me consistently in the Thunder app.

just wanted to note this is happening again. on photon getting lots of error messages failing to like posts and comments, couldnt mark post as read, couldnt execute a delete on a read only action.

I'm seeing similar issues here as well.

Also, not all of the posts I'm creating in the Trailers community seem to be making it out to federated instances. For example, these show up in the blahaj trailers community, but don't seem to be visible within the same communities on programming.dev, beehaw or elsewhere:

Confirmed: I've had trouble posting (with various error messages), occasionally trouble up-voting and viewing posts (seeing some newer posts with 0 votes).
