I would love a sort-of Spore RTS where you design bugs and they evolve. After you design your species, you have Brood War style gameplay where you have to beat other colonies using your design while harvesting resources.

There isn't Spore-like evolution from what I recall, but Impossible Creatures is an RTS with the species designing part.
