Finally some good news

[–] JohnBrownsBawdy@hexbear.net 4 points 8 hours ago

Sounds like Israel is successfully getting Trump to restart the war against Iran by telling him Iran wants to kill him.

Obviously it’s funny that his wet brain keeps getting duped by the same people doing the same thing, but not so funny that it comes close to the human tragedy of what’s happening at the hands of the U.S. and Israel.

🤞 🤞 🤞

I don't think it would change much, considering decapitation strikes rarely change the material base. JD Vance would carry on as usual. That being said, it would be enormously funny and I would bust out the crab rave.

Honestly I think that is why the sack of shit is spewing this nonsense in the first place, instead of hiding in a bunker somewhere, he doesn't believe it either but he wants to appear strong and brave and powerful "look at me my life is on the line but I don't run and hide!" but if it was really he'd be hiding like Hitler in a bunker (and hopefully with the same happy ending)

[–] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 10 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

Honestly not sure, the US seems to be one of the only countries to think decapitation strikes work. That's why they do them so much, and Trump might believe it too. Then again, we know he's hamming up how unreasonable Iran is (they have been incredibly restrained), so you might be right!

They do an enormous amount of projecting, so maybe it is "Great Man Theory" at work, and to acknowledge it doesn't work would require the admission of being wrong, and might even threaten their world view of Capitalism being "eternal and right! Law of the jungle baby, survival of the fittest!" (with the irony that they aren't fit, just sitting on a stolen hoard)

[–] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 6 points 17 hours ago

Yep, it's self a destructive.

Let the man destroy America more before killing him.

I like the fire, but he's just the figurehead. IMO we get more utility out of watching powerful people die than having certain figureheads in the hot seat. meow-anarchist AmeriKKKa

Well if the plan include mass explosions that kill multiple US politicians I'm 100% down with it.

[–] RiverRock@lemmy.ml 7 points 17 hours ago

Aqua Teen style mass spontaneous detonations

Don't get my hopes up lol Timmy Turner from Fairly Odd Parents saying "Please God let this happen because it would be so fucking funny"

[–] bigbangdangler@reddthat.com 1 points 9 hours ago

Thanks for letting us know? I guess.

We'll probably find out either way.

[–] Brokkr@lemmy.world 13 points 17 hours ago

I'm sure Iran knows to "never interrupt your enemy when they are making a mistake".

[–] unmagical@lemmy.ml 18 points 19 hours ago

So he's dying and wants to find a scapegoat so that the normal end of life isn't his fault?

[–] VeryVito@lemmy.world 8 points 17 hours ago

What would Iran gain by assassinating the man currently inflicting the most harm to the United States?

[–] lemonwood@lemmy.ml 11 points 18 hours ago

That's just his handlers stoking his fear again. Just like they did to get him to start the war.

"I may be stung" I say as I keep poking the wasp nest

Trump also alluded to the role the US had played in the targeted assassinations of the Iranian leadership. “They had leaders. They’re gone. And they had another set of leaders. They’re gone. Now they have another set of leaders. They may be gone,” he said.

The US president noted, “I may be gone, too, because I’m their number one target.” “That’s the way they act,” he added, claiming that he is doing “what’s right for the country”.

So “that’s the way they act”, after describing himself acting that way.

[–] crusa187@lemmy.ml 3 points 18 hours ago

Yep…Trump assassinated their leaders at least twice, after starting the war with them on behalf of the Israelis and despite enormous unpopularity in the US, at great cost to the nation despite an affordability crisis brought on by Trump tariff policies, all the while Israelis assassinating Iranian peace negotiators whenever a deal seems imminent. Then Trump claims they are the scum.

Truly the world has never known a bigger, wetter, oranger dotard.

More likely to be the powers of capital if he continues to crash the global markets

[–] lambisio@feddit.cl 6 points 18 hours ago

Nah, capital loves what he's doing. He's their personal masturbation machine.

[–] Naich@piefed.world 6 points 19 hours ago

Oh no!

Anyway...

[–] hayvan@piefed.world 2 points 18 hours ago

That would be a great favour, so they probably shouldn't.

[–] starlinguk@lemmy.world 1 points 18 hours ago

Look, people really wanted to kill the failed Austrian artist and he ultimately had to do it himself. So I'm not holding my breath.

[–] tedd_deireadh@lemmy.world 1 points 19 hours ago

Iran, if you're listening...

[–] shweddy@lemmy.world 1 points 19 hours ago

Iran would be the goat

swentr.site is a mirror of RT (Russia Today) and this is Russian propaganda.

Low credibility and poor facts overall.
