In college it was the theater majors who threw the absolute best parties.

I think that's where the licking yourself like a cat comes in handy

Theater kids, marching band, and the college newspaper were the best parties in my experience. Holy fuck could those newsies drink.

In high school, I had the chance to be a part of what I learned later was considered the "cool group". We partied, and I thought we partied hard.

Came 4th year of high school, something nice happened : everyone started being friendly with each other in my promotion.

And when I went to my first party with the "nerd kids playing Pokemon card during lunch time" - holy cow! - we weren't the ones who partied the hardest.

There’s a reason furry cons are known to have huge parties. Just a bunch of nerds that want to have some fun! Plus furries do have a good bit of money. Those suits ain’t cheap!

We did because of the news.

Also the privilege.

This feels like a Gianmarco Soresi bit.

The theatre kids in my school jerked each other off in the bathroom at least once. I'm not even joking.

So yeah, that's my impression of theatre people.

[–] forgetfulmeat@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Hey as long as they were all consenting parties

[–] TachyonTele_Esq@piefed.social 0 points 1 week ago (2 children)

A group of high school boys circle jerking in the school bathroom is fine to you?

[–] mrgoosmoos@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

you changed the context from post-secondary to secondary

[–] TachyonTele_Esq@piefed.social -1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I'll have to take your word on that one

[–] mrgoosmoos@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

no, you don't. that's what happened.

[–] TachyonTele_Esq@piefed.social -2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

No idea what your talking about, but ok. Enjoy I suppose

[–] fushuan@piefed.blahaj.zone 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Secondary education is high school, the post references college debt, even if the word college isn't explicitly mentioned those numbers only seem same in the context of American college.

So yeah, you changed the context from post-secondary education (college, meaning legally adults) to secondary education (high school, meaning minors).

[–] TachyonTele_Esq@piefed.social 0 points 1 week ago (1 children)

What numbers? I'm talking about kids jerking off in the school bathroom. You're weird man. Lay off whatever it is you're on.

[–] mrgoosmoos@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

dude just give up. you're making this a way bigger thing than it should be.

[–] TachyonTele_Esq@piefed.social 0 points 1 week ago

Give up what exactly? Leave me alone weirdo

[–] forgetfulmeat@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I wasn't really seeing it like that when I said that. When you put it like that then yeah bad joke sorry. I was more thinking college kids doing weird shit.

[–] TachyonTele_Esq@piefed.social 0 points 1 week ago

Ah gotcha. No worries.

[–] Lushed_Lungfish@lemmy.ca 6 points 1 week ago

As a pure science nerd, at least they were getting laid.

[–] KombatWombat@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago

Theatre kid if they are aware of their weirdness. Thespian if they are pretentious about it

I'd love to know how this guy developed a deep and abiding grudge against theatre folk. Maybe a method actor got into character by killing his dad?

[–] MrFlibble4747@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 week ago

Never heard the term "lovies"?

[–] Dzheyk@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 week ago

I've seen that crew from Dropout..they really do have no shame.

Theatre nerds. And they’re awesome.

[–] ExLisper@lemmy.curiana.net 1 points 1 week ago

$200.000? How can people live like that?

[–] Gates9@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 week ago
