It's the economic system that combines greed with power. That's just capitalism. Time for a revolution.

What happens once one person wins monopoly and everyone else goes bankrupt?
Someone usually flips the table, shouting and chaos ensues, all properties on the board are basically trashed and put back into the box that was used as the bank in the game
Large scale homicide. That's the only thing that will really work
Be smart with how you spend your money and speak to your local politicians office about what you think is the course of action you want on a subject. If you have a bunch of subject just remind yourself to be singular in each communication. If you want to really send it home, write letters. Use form letters if you want but make sure to sign them in ink.
You might not think it's meaningful but it really is. That extra step really does matter. You do it enough and the political powers will remember you and you can have a place in your part of the world with just the cost of time and a stamp.
Remember to tell them what you want not what they should do.
Maybe the elite is secretly protecting the environment by denying the population the money to spend on resources.
But to answer the question:
Introduce a wealth tax and finance a universal basic income.
That weeds out the incompetent billionaires and gives everybody the space to try to become a competent one on their own.

Murder wonβt redistribute the wealth. Taxation will.
But how do we get taxation?
Murder doesn't redistribute wealth, but a ruling class that remembers why the plebeians need to be kept reasonably happy stops actively sabotaging any efforts at wealth redistribution.
I'd rather have that happen another way but at this point what's left?

I haven't seen your comment about what what "we" should do... and all the so called solutions here are just.. not gonna work or put someone else worse in power.
What's the point in spoonfeeding you when you're just going to decide it's not going to work?
