Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

While I’m thrilled at the idea, this is not a quality source of reality. This is a lefty circle jerk encouraging Americans not to revolt because it’s “almost over” and yet it’s not. Dare I say, fed funded propaganda?

fed funded propaganda

We are so fucked if you dumbfucks keep slinging conspiracy shit like you're addicted to the National Enquirer's tit. It's the same fucking milk that juices conservative amygdalas all fucking day long.

If the people who control the news also control the government and they publish articles with the specific goal of controlling the people… then yeah fed prop.

Tell me you’re not a white man over 50?

I keep hearing people talk about how excited they are for the day it happens, which I understand, but I find the people who would take his place much scarier

[–] CADmonkey@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago (1 children)

The people who would replace him after the inevitable cat fight over "Who he really wanted to replace him".

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 0 points 3 days ago

He doesn't want anyone to replace him. He doesn't intend to die and he doesn't care what happens after he dies

[–] kibblebits@quokk.au 1 points 5 days ago

Bovino actually frightens me.

According to longtime campaign strategist James Carvelle, the president is going to resign by next spring.

Welp, this is one time it's appropriate to ask the fucking Crypt Keeper for his opinion...

Carvelle is one of those backroom fuckheads who destroyed the Democratic party over decades and paved the way for all this shit.

[–] Zaktor@sopuli.xyz 4 points 6 days ago

And can't just fade away having gotten away with it all.

[–] ClassStruggle@lemmy.ml 11 points 6 days ago

No one gives a flying fuck what Carvell thinks. That motherfucker is largely responsible for the political climate we currently have. He needs to die as much as Trump

[–] Jerb322@lemmy.world 10 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Can we please just call him a rapist, officially, before he dies? I'd love for him to take that to the grave!

[–] iThinkDifferentThanU@lemmy.world 11 points 6 days ago (1 children)

donald trump's a rapist pedophile, sue me bitches

That's what it says in the TRUMP-EPSTEIN FILES (TM)

[–] DrSoap@lemmy.world 6 points 6 days ago

The more threatened he is, the more dangerous he becomes.

The one line of the article that was worth the barrage of subscription requests.

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.cafe 3 points 5 days ago

No you don’t, asshole.

You don’t get to escape justice that easily.

PSA: this is NOT about Tony Schwartz who ghost-wrote the Artlessness of the Deal and later did penance by speaking out against The Don. I still like to point out that he predicted Jan 6 in 2017 by saying "he won't go willingly" if he loses the next election. Highly recommended video, still after almost 10 years.

Calling the guy in this article a "longtime" biographer seems a little disingenuous.

Calling the guy in this article a “longtime” biographer seems a little disingenuous.

Wolff has written four books on Trump that are well-researched, and also a book on Epstein and one on Murdoch. He comes across as a bit of a tabloid journalist, but his analysis of Trump's character and behavior have been solid, well-sourced and occasionally insightful.

he predicted Jan 6 in 2017 by saying “he won’t go willingly” if he loses the next election

That's a vague speculation and not a specific prediction that he'd organize an insurrection. Pretty weak stuff.
