It just sickens me how many evil people are in leadership positions around the world. Why does humanity keep rewarding and propping these people up

Money. Capitalism.

Turns out, when you build a society and culture where you want more more more, and to get that you need money, it becomes very easy to control and turn people.

It’s like a rapist saying they won’t stop raping you while they’re still raping you

With the face of Benjamin Netanyahu

It's totally understandable: they need the lebensraum.

They’ll probably be smart enough to play along for a few months to get their money and then turn around and call the deal off.

Unlikely. The moment Israel is not longer at war, Netanyahu's corruption prosecutions get unfrozen.

There's additional internal pressure too - Israelis just love ethnic cleansing and they want the war on Lebanon and Iran to continue.

Even the "moderate" opposition, Lapid, is calling for the continuation of the war because 1- he'd lose on votes + support if he doesn't 2- he wants more dead children as well

Israel can only be dealt with using force. They don't believe in human rights or diplomacy, or that the rest of the world are even full human beings. Theres no shared philosophical ground to build on with them in negotiations. And they lie about literally everything. Worst people on the planet.

Strange, that's the exact same posture the US took towards the Soviet Union during the cold war. That sentiment preceded containment.

its similar, but no, western fear of communism is not "the exact same" as the battle for universal human rights.
