You know you're a real piece of shit when people are cheering and singing in celebration that your name is being taken off something.

Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!
Rules:
- Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.
Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.
Example:

- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.
That's all the rules!

The judge should have sentenced him to watch it.
He'd just fall asleep
You know what his name will never come off of? The TRUMP-EPSTEIN FILES (TM)
This is a great start but can we do like the Egyptians with that one Pharaoh who had his every mention expunged from the historical records just so that nobody gets any fucking ideas.
When decent people are running the country again, they need to pass a law that it is illegal to name anything after him, or give him any monuments or tributes. No buildings, highways, airports, bridges, statues, anniversaries, etc.
I do support a Presidential library, every president should have one, but his should be totally dedicated to his crimes, and the damage he and MAGA did before they were mercilessly crushed, and purged from our government and society.
Just pretend it never happens. The american way
Sounds funny, but it'll lead to people saying "look at those 4 years without a president where everything went to shit! We need strong leadership!'
Ngl I’m flabbergasted that Americans allowed him to do it. :/
We didn’t allow him to do anything. He just did it anyway, then we took him to court and sued his ass, and now he’s been forced by the court to remove it.
Well this is brilliant news. Bet he is raging. Love it. :D
He lives by his version of "It better to ask for forgiveness that permission," except he doesn't ask for forgiveness, he just says " Yeah I did it, what are gonna do about it?"
Now he's finding out what happens, as the courts are starting to kick him in the nuts. And that's just for relatively small stuff like this. It's an indication that the courts aren't going to be very friendly when he gets out, and they start coming at him for big stuff like Corruption. Judges like Cannon won't be so deferent when they aren't gambling that he'll get elected again.
"Surely this will be the return to normalcy."
Don't get me wrong, I have the same wishful thinking, but at least recognize it as such. I hope he lives to 120 in prison.
Was the tarp ever taken down? Or is it still there hiding what they are actually doing?
Last I heard, it was still up.
I will believe it when I see it.
