Hard to beat his platform
Progressive Politics
Welcome to Progressive Politics! A place for news updates and political discussion from a left perspective. Conservatives and centrists are welcome just try and keep it civil :)
(Sidebar still a work in progress post recommendations if you have them such as reading lists)
It is the Fetterman-Trump strategy: reverse psychology the Fascist you want elected.
Don't think so. He's aggressively anti-war and pro-union. A lot of his positions are things the ruling class wouldn't even want him pretending to believe in.
What unions?
Maine unions, who contain people who would be his constituents.
According to his platform, he supports the PRO Act, to extend labor protections and the right to organize.
Unfortunately, the only record he has is Reddit history, and ex girlfriends.
The Phantoms of Maine, the Wesakechak Traders, the Wendigo of Blueberries? Name them!
What’s your play here? What are you trying to do?
The truth! What actual coalition is he even forming‽
I can claim to have 👴👱♂️“the greatest coalition of all time, all the biggest players are there, like you wouldn't believe!” and people would fall for it without a single shred of investigatory curiosity. Why should we believe another promise maker without proof of founding anything?
What are you talking about? Are you seriously trying to push the narrative that he’s a trumpian? Because he’s very, very obviously not.
Again: I trust a guy who seems to have done his best to change into a better person from a very flawed starting point, and who now supports a ton of progressive positions that I and his potential constituents agree with, than a status quo establishment Democrat candidate pulling the same bullshit I’ve seen done for pretty much the entirety of my politically active life. But you do you. Carry on with your ad hominem attacks. Nothing to see here.
Reread what I wrote. Is there even labor unions in Maine?
