Ehh, I wouldn't get your hopes up if the RE2 and RE3 remakes are anything to go by. You'll get a classic theme DLC at most and a generic, mostly understated modern cinematic soundscape
RE3R actually did a good job with the remade tracks, even if they went for somewhat different tone from the original, and it seems like they learned their lesson overall with both that and RE4R. Similarly, REV seems to be going for a darker tone so I expect it the score to be different while retaining the "soul", if they keep at it.
Sidenote but I do find it funny that RE3R's version of RE2's Safe Room theme is better, truer to the original and closer to the version RE9 went with at the RPD section.

Criminally underrated entry imo
It was flawed in a lot of ways but it really was the Swansong of classic RE (no, I'm not counting REmake).
Yeah nobody played it because nobody had a Dreamcast but I caught it on PS2 and it rocked. The story is hokey af but it's the best in the series imho
The story was kinda all over the place but was gripping for a RE plot, and an experienced writing team for the remake has a lot of material to work with (The Ashford family, the twins' dynamic with the Redfields, Steve in the parts where he wasn't annoying, Wesker vs Chris, etc)
