RE3R actually did a good job with the remade tracks, even if they went for somewhat different tone from the original, and it seems like they learned their lesson overall with both that and RE4R. Similarly, REV seems to be going for a darker tone so I expect it the score to be different while retaining the "soul", if they keep at it.
Sidenote but I do find it funny that RE3R's version of RE2's Safe Room theme is better, truer to the original and closer to the version RE9 went with at the RPD section.
