Jesus, I thought he might be losing support because of all the death, destruction and rape. But no - it's not enough for them. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

[–] MonkRome@lemmy.world 14 points 3 days ago (4 children)

When you live in constant war, its really easy to instill fear and foment hate. That's why netenyahu keeps up the war machine, its his primary avenue to power.

[–] FarraigePlaisteach@lemmy.world 25 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Poor Isreal. Why won't their victims just let them steal their land and rape their families in peace, eh? /s

[–] MonkRome@lemmy.world -4 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago) (3 children)

More pointing out that its easy to look from the outside and wonder why people are so awful, but humans are easily controlled with fear.

[–] elucubra@sopuli.xyz 0 points 4 hours ago

Yeah, I would also fear those subhumans whom I have killed and expelled to "colonize"

[–] mrdown@lemmy.dbzer0.com 9 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Now use this logic about the nazis and hitler

[–] MonkRome@lemmy.world -1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Yes, of course, the Nazis controlled their populace with hate and fear, im failing to see why this is suddenly controversial.

[–] Rat_in_a_hat@lemmy.ca 10 points 3 days ago

Or...they're just awful and feel they have a right to colonize.

[–] mrdown@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 2 days ago

When you keep colonizing people of course you will be in constant war

[–] kreskin@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

I dont think you have to foment hate in Israeli society. Its already there.

Zionist alert 🚨 Zionist alert 🚨

I think you lack reading comprehension. Reread both sentences and maybe don't jump to conclusions before activating your brain and comprehending the full point.

Most accounts of early use meaning freedom for Palestine not just from Israel, but from Jordan and Egypt as well. The one group that used it in a mostly genocidal undertone was the PLO in the 1960's who believed it meant returning the whole region to Palestinian rule, and 'removing' all people that immigrated in the last hundred years.

This you? Please enlighten me on how returning back to a pre-colonial state is genocidal.

“Please mr. kkhamas let us genocide in peace, why are you resisting? 😭”

[–] MonkRome@lemmy.world 1 points 23 hours ago* (last edited 23 hours ago)

There is a difference between ending colonialism and removing people from land. I find it absolutely crazy that people that have no issue with immigration anywhere else in the world think it is suddenly bad there. The issue isn't with Jews simply existing in the middle east, its with Israel's colonialism and genocide of Palestine. Isreal can stop existing without the genocide of the Jewish people. Removing all Jews is evil, just as removing all Palestinians is evil, they are both genocide.

The issue is one of power, colonialism, and Israel's genocide. Those can change without causing another genocide.

[–] Tolc@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago

This is what zionism is, this is what the west promotes.

[–] sportsjorts@lemmy.zip 22 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Get Israel the fuck out of American politics. Period. No money no bombs no fucking nothing. Absolute fucking monsters.

[–] Jankatarch@lemmy.world 11 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Get israel the fuck out in general. There is no spot for a nation this genocidal in the 21st century.

[–] kreskin@lemmy.world 15 points 2 days ago

The Israeli people have spoken: more murder, more theft, more rape, more starvation. More attacks on aid workers, more manipulations and lies in other countries.

[–] MyOpinion@lemmy.today 51 points 3 days ago (1 children)

He has not killed enough people for their liking.

[–] Ilixtze@lemmy.ml 11 points 2 days ago

Really bloodthirsty these israelies, i wish them many more quad copters with ordnance strapped in landing on their asses!

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 18 points 2 days ago

We're telling our leader to knock it off, and they're telling their leader to crank it up, and Iran is making their cooperation on a peace deal contingent on Israel backing off of Lebanon. The only barrier to peace on the Middle East is Israel.

[–] phoenixz@lemmy.ca 14 points 2 days ago (3 children)

voters demand tougher Lebanon stance

...

.........

Tougher? Seriously?

So I'm against antisemitism, or just plain racism in general. Everybody is the same, so fuck off with your bullshit.

I hate Israel and the IDF, and Zionists BECAUSE THEY ALL WANT GENOCIDE, and if I have been taught anything in school, it is "never again"

I have NO problems with Jews in general, again, all the same, we all share the same DNA, we all love our children, we're the same

But if a psychopath dictator is losing support from israeli Jews because he isn't genociding enough, it really makes me wonder how deep this hatred against the entire world runs in Israel. It makes me wonder if it is a good idea to leave Israel in existence at all, at this point, because every time there is really truly bad shit going on, Israel is always somehow involved, be it directly, be it through financing or sabotage, but there is always something there and it's becoming... Unsettling.

Again, fuck antisemitism, but people haven't been able to levy the slightest obvious and valid criticism against israel without being labeled an antisemite by some Israel organization or government, to the point that the word lost it's meaning entirely.

So then I guess I am an antisemite who hates racism and hasn't got a problem with Jews at all, unless they're into genocide and lately I'm having real problems finding Jewish people that aren't.

Can Jews that hate genocide please stand up? Are there any of you left that actually paid attention in class about the "never again" part?

[–] FatCrab@slrpnk.net 4 points 2 days ago

The Palestinian solidarity movements in the west are full of Jewish folks. Fuck off.

[–] Allero@lemmy.today 3 points 2 days ago

We need a world where someone can criticize Israeli government without mentioning they're not antisemite 4 times in one comment

[–] couldhavebeenyou@lemmy.zip -5 points 2 days ago (2 children)

He's basically losing support because he's unable to stop Hezbollah from doing a mild genocide in northern Israel. It's mild, sure, but how would you react if your neighbours and family were getting genocided? Would you want your politicians to take it easy?

[–] corsicanguppy@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 days ago

** looks at map of gaza **

These Zionist scums surely proliferate like fucking moths. 🧹🧹 shoo shoo get out of here animal

[–] finallymadeanaccount@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago (1 children)

God forbid he faces plunging support due to sending his IDF filth to mass murder babies and children.

[–] Greyghoster@aussie.zone 4 points 2 days ago

It seems that is not enough for the voters.

[–] bagsy@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago (4 children)

The part i dont understand is this; lets say israel successfully controls all of gaza and all Palestinians are displaced, then what? Arent they now a sitting duck after removing the only reason the muslim world has for holding back?

[–] andrewrgross@slrpnk.net 10 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

Based on my understanding, there's two considerations:

  1. I don't think most Israelis expect Arab neighbors to actually care about the Palestinians. They reason that many of the citizens in those countries are mad, but leaders are all corrupt and can be bought off or manipulated.

  2. There's a general mania for war, and a belief that they can just threaten or kill anyone who tries to stop them.

It's all insane. The general Israeli public is heavily propagandized and traumatized. I think it's possible that experts might eventually categorize this period as a mass hysteria event among Israeli Jews.

Just to add some additional context, it's rarely discussed in America, but Israeli society is getting torn apart by all of this. Not over political disagreements (sadly genocide has become overwhelmingly popular) but this state of constant war is destroying their economy, their labor force, their international collaborations, and the general mental health of their society. It's obviously nothing compared to what their victims in Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank are going through, but the population within Israel is setting fire to their own society in their lust for blood.

Thank you for the insight, that was a great bit of info that i had no idea about. Even with free internet access, i find its still really hard to break out of the bubble and learn these things.

They have had this plan since Ben Gurion founded the country. They will move on to Syria and Jordan next, then Egypt.

“We should prepare to go over to the offensive. Our aim is to smash Lebanon, Trans-Jordan, and Syria. The weak point is Lebanon, for the Moslem regime is artificial and easy for us to undermine. We shall establish a Christian state there, and then we will smash the Arab Legion, eliminate Trans-Jordan; Syria will fall to us. We then bomb and move on and take Port Said, Alexandria and Sinai.” David Ben-Gurion May 1948, to the General Staff. From Ben-Gurion, a Biography, by Michael Ben-Zohar, Delacorte, New York 1978.

[–] mrdown@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

All the Arab leaders are puppets traitors that will do nothing to really help Palestinians and will not act until Israel go after them directly. So Palestinians will be forced to Egypt then Palestinians will rearm in Egypt and Jordan which would gives Israel an excuse to invade those two countries. They could find similar excuses to go after other arab countries

[–] corsicanguppy@lemmy.ca -5 points 2 days ago (1 children)
[–] mrdown@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 2 days ago

Why wouldn't it make sense? Israel colonized gaza, the west bank and multiple other arab land based on national security pretense . The greater Israel is a real project.

Nuke Israel, then burn the ashes. Then force everyone with israeli citizenship to live there
