or she was invited? to a large event in the community she's been elected to represent? and dressed respectfully because not to do so or to tell them what is respectful is western chauvinism? clearly most of the people at the event are in various religious garb, muslim new yorkers aren't rocking those fits daily.
are you telling me you don't understand that this tweet and the image you posted are from different holidays? the tweet is from Eid at the end of Ramadan, the image is from Eid al Adha celebrations the other day.
