Oh I may be finally able to enjoy Symphony of the Night on the phone. Touch controls are the bane* of my existence.
I don't think you could use those with anything other than very old school JRPGs or visual novels or something
Gen alpha and gen z have a knack for it from being iPad/iphone Natives, but for sure it is a pain to learn.
I've had a few of the controllers, one Xbox style, one SNES/PlayStation kinda fusion, and one Xbox style with N64 buttons - they're all pretty nice and I would recommend them (well, the N64 one only for cringe millennials with N64 nostalgia [couldn't be me...])
Edit: I use the normal ones on PC and old Switch, and the N64 one on PC.
