Next, they are accessing cameras in childrens changing rooms in true GOP fashion.

[–] prex@aussie.zone 43 points 1 day ago (4 children)

Why do they have cameras in these places. Is a kids gymnastics room a high crime area!?

[–] cecilkorik@lemmy.ca 32 points 1 day ago

Well we live in a world literally run by pedophiles now, so sadly probably yes. I doubt that's what the cameras are for though.

[–] modus@lemmy.world 9 points 21 hours ago

Parents were tired of pedos and politicians coming to their gyms so they installed cameras for them to use instead.

Gee I wonder why kids have anxiety. Must be the phones and not shoving surveilance cameras everywhere

[–] uymai@lemmy.ca 5 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Places I’ve been don’t want kids to run over to their parents mid-class, so they put them in a waiting room, and since parents want to watch their class they tend to have a tv running in that room

[–] FlashMobOfOne@lemmy.world 12 points 1 day ago (1 children)

This is correct. I was a musical theater performer for decades and grew up in several dance studios, and they're always equipped with either a one-way mirror in a room where the parents can watch without being disruptive, or cameras.

But after the events of the past two years, we know definitively that the Epstein class is untouchable and entrenched in every detail of society and that every device with a camera or microphone and a wireless connection is spying on us. It would not surprise me to learn that Flock is collating the data received from such places and selling it to pedophiles for their entertainment.

They can do it and cover it up by "getting hacked"

[–] Passerby6497@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago

Gods forbid we used the old school method of just looking through a damned window

At least my kid's karate studio is smart enough to do it that way...

Reminds me of this...

I hate the fact that The Onion is basically reporting reality nowadays.

Somewhat tangential, but who were these clients for this sales demo? Someone building Epstein Island 2.0 with live feeds?

[–] BigMacHole@thelemmy.club 21 points 1 day ago

The Residents in the Republican Area were FURIOUS that their Elected Officials DIDNT Share the footage with THEM! OTHERWISE why would they Keep Electing the People SPYING on Children?

Flock Cameras in Children's Gymnastics Room

[–] TransNeko@lemmy.world 11 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Don't worry it could be worse... Flock could be setting up cameras in bathrooms... oh wait... nvm.

University of Maryland installed Flock cameras in their bathrooms to "combat indecency and voyeurism." boy... I can think of several reasons not to have cameras in a bathroom (other than that it's illegal to do so)

[–] fluffykittycat@slrpnk.net 1 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

At Beverly hills high school they literally do have microphones in the school bathrooms

[–] TransNeko@lemmy.world 2 points 12 hours ago

ew.

and let me guess... the people who happen to have access to those microphones are white men.
