Aaahh it has five at the top of the neck, six holes where the strings attach to the head, and seven strings at the body.
My head cannon is its a Russian guitar, they're 7 strings as standard
Not to throw a wrench into your head canon, but the headstock is clearly for a 6-string.
Depends on where you look. The five strings at the nut somehow become 7 by the bridge. The sixth string appears to start under her left hand, and the seventh may actually be emerging from the sound hole.
No wonder she's having such a hard time.
