Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

I wonder if she realizes her entire life is meaningless and she will only be remembered as that lady who helped protect all of those child molesters.

[–] Sciaphobia@sh.itjust.works 19 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Probably not. I would guess that if she didn't have the money and connections to live a life of carefree, casual cruelty for the sake of it before, she does now.

Being the fall guy she probably always knew was part of the pact is not likely keeping her up at night.

Hope I'm wrong, and she eventually suffers as she has made others suffer.

I doubt she'll be remembered at all.

What do you think it's like, to have been aware the whole time that you would be the fall guy for a pedophile?

I'm reminded of Dylan reading this...

Aw, you never turned around to see the frowns
On the jugglers and the clowns when they all did tricks for you
Never understood that it ain't no good
You shouldn't let other people get your kicks for you
You used to ride on a chrome horse with your diplomat
Who carried on his shoulder a Siamese cat
Ain't it hard when you discover that
He really wasn't where it's at
After he took from you everything he could steal?

Just another blonde woman used and disposed off by Trump.

[–] Pyr_Pressure@lemmy.ca 8 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Wonder if she's been kicked out of the military housing and had the security team recalled

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago

It's what she deserves. Why should we continue paying for this? Besides, PEDOnald made it a top priority to remove security detail on people not in his party.

Soon they'll be Photoshopping her out of the group photos.

[–] Soulphite@reddthat.com 2 points 3 days ago

They might even Russian her out of life itself if she doesn't toe the line.

[–] GuyFawkesV@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago (1 children)

They should replace it with a photo of the DOW.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Now that would be hilarious given how this whitetrash administration has treated Biden by putting up a fucking autopen for his portrait.

I think when PEDOnald is out of there, Democrats should definitely return the favor, either have no portrait of the orange asshole or at all, or have a pic of mashed potatoes instead. No way they should put up one of his artificial tacticool photos where he's scowling like he thinks he's a character in Scarface or something. Put up that vagina neck photo from Newsweek maybe.

[–] YerLam@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

Hopefully by that point there'll be a new mugshot to put up. Or have "Incarcerated" in big red letters over it.

[–] Mohamed@lemmy.ca 9 points 3 days ago

Wow. They take their figureheads pretty seriously.

[–] TimboSlice@discuss.online 4 points 3 days ago

Used up and thrown away...was it worth it?

[–] stickyprimer@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

Is there some customary period for it to stay up after someone is fired?

[–] NatakuNox@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago

The trash is too good for her
