I have responded to Microslop preemptively by abandoning their software and adopting Linux.

This March marked my first year of Linux, can’t see myself going back.

Too Little and way too late. Microslop is sloppy slop.

Definition of an abusive relationship. Treated you bad for years but they do one small nice thing and they want endless praise. They're just going to go back to hurting you tomorrow

No baby, I'm so sorry, it won't happen again. I promise!

"reducing unnecessary Copilot entry points" in apps like Snipping Tool, Photos, Widgets, and Notepad.

So not only are they admitting these were pointless additions, but their choice of words implies that other pointless Sloppilot entry points remain by choice.

Something must be happening to make them alter course a bit, but it's not serious enough for them to commit to any major changes yet.

yes they do but only after about 20% of Windows users decided to leave everything MS related behind.

And the other 80% only stayed because they were either not confident enough in their technical abilities to switch or had no choice (environment would need to be re-certified, software doesn't work well with wine, boss said no).

The other 80% are probably older folks that don’t know any better, nor have the expertise to install Linux, and the rest are people locked into Windows because of work.

Pretty much the two groups that I had in mind but I wanted to generalize a bit.

Did they bring back the taskbar calendar flyout?
